Good watch that Matt, looked like you had the weather for it. Unlucky on the blank but you certainly threw the kitchen sink at it in fairness, just nice being out though ain't it. Like you I always have Mackerel with me, such a versatile bait and underated I think. Well done and all the best for your next session 👍👍
Cheers Gareth. It is a pain (as you know) when the effort is put in but there is no fish to show, but i remember our conversation on Friars about your subscribers saying they were glad you show the real side of fishing and not just the good bits. This video has zero fish and 40 new subscribers. Thanks for your advice. Mackerel always comes with me. I love the stuff in the channel. Thanks for your comments and support mate, means alot. 👍🏻
Cracking videos Matt, blank this time but still plenty of info. The studded wellies look essential and you only just mange to fit your rugby ball calfs in them👍
🤣 thank you Peter. I prefer studded footwear for most places I fish. There are only really 2 things I tell people that should be high end equipment for fishing and that's footwear and headlamp. Cheers for watching mate. 👍🏻
Cheers mate. Starting to get into the production and editing side of things now. Drone next for some different points of veiw. Thanks for watching mate. 👍🏻
Hey Matt. Tony here (daughters sign in sorry). Just subscribed. Absolutely love the videos, keep going on here. Amazing Content and great editing. Wanted to ask a quick question around rods for beachcasting. Thinking of a new rod and reel and want to get maximum cast distance. Any recommendations?
Thanks for watching and subscribing mate. All depends on duvet to be honest, that being said a £500 rod isn't necessarily going to cast further than a £200 rod. Do you use fixed spool or multiplier reels? What are you currently using as a rod and reel?
Currently using fixed spool but going to purchase a multiplier for the first time. Was thinking of Penn fathom 2. Have about £400 limit for both rod and reel. Current rod is only 12ft Shakespeare sigma supra. Sorry to be a pain but any tips appreciated!!! Not getting much distance right now
@@sienna_btw3355 I would look at maybe a second hand Anyfish Anywhere 6 and bait. Most of the distance in the cast comes from bending and loading up the rod. I'd also go with a second had reel or even try and borrow one before you buy one, multipliers are not for everyone. I have fathoms myself and would recommend them. The six and bait is a great all round rod that will bend and help you cast better. 👍🏻
Strangely enough I was looking at those and noticed the anytime in your videos. I’ll give it a go and keep you posted. Keep up the videos. Fantastic filming fair play.
the guy on the right.. not sure if I would wear or even carry a pair of chest-waders to Witches... the hill is a killer when you go light... masochism!
Great vi great mark, its called fishing for a reason ✌you was there with a line in the water 👍see you on the next one Matt ✌
Cheers mate. 👍🏻

I went to witches point not too long ago and didn’t get a single bite ! Was a lovely place to fish though. Will defo go again
Great venue that usually fishes well. Can be dangerous with strong South westerly winds and swells. 👍🏻
