@rorytheboy well... exactly actually...? nonetheless because the varispeed is turned up on the album version, this version is indeed, slower, and a half step lower. is it not?
I like this version. Saw them on Austin City Limits and thought they were the worst band ever, but this is good. In that show they played a sped up version of this song and it was terrible.
They tend to speed things up when playing live. It's cool though in my opinion, it gives some contrast to their studio stuff. There's a lot more energy in their live performances too.
meh, i'd say more like that cat's pajamas. but minor discrepancies aside, fantastic band! idk why they always wear those obnoxiously tiny hats though. ha

So good, I find myself singing this all the time. Reminiscent of something really spectacular like "the band", yet completely original to themselves.
I can't get over that he sings "choo choo rain" but I sing this song all the time too. Such a silly lyric but it's so good.
This really is a great version of "From". Scott's voice is on and the banjo is a nice touch.
