the difficult part about this is not the ascension requirements or explorer notes... in order to level to 190 you need millions upon millions upon millions of xp, which can take months of constantly killing baby gigas without extralife rates. the numbers on this thing would have to have a few extra zeroes to justify the astronomical amount of grind to get the xp to level up... as it is, a tek rifle is more versatile...
I did it. Took 14 months of grinding and was absolutely not worth it😂😂 kinda ruined how fun the game was for me and how fun it used to be. Not cause of how like op it is or whatever yes it's wicked cool but not at all worth how much effort it takes to get. 1 for official servers to get shut down on the ps4 side and completely lose that character and progress. And 2 learning not long after fully completing it you can do like 10 different commands. Fight Fenrir and your worthy. (Thaf part kinda pissed me off after all that work)
If explorer notes for runes are glitched I think you can bypass it by ascensions and chibi I think it just matters for completing world bosses and getting to level 99 but bc there aren't that many ways to get that far
It's a big disappointment that it's locked behind a bugged part of the system the devs have ignored since gen 2 launched, when gen 2 launched the devs reset every players explorer notes on official, EXCEPT THEY FORGOT gen 1 missions required the glitches to be collected, Meaning not many official players who have completed gen 1 properly can ever re-unlock gen 1 glitches, permanently ruining any veteran official players... Edit... they recently fixed some of them... except mine is still bugged. I have ALL Gen 1 notes collected, but it still says I'm locked many gen 1 notes and there's no glitches at there coords to collect again.
I have expressed this through the support system on the survive the ark official website and was Banned for criticism... after getting an response on there support site through reddit, we were told to.... "just make a new character."

They actually fixed the glitched gen 1 explorer notes a while back. If you transfer into any gen 1 server, the corresponding note for each glitch you've collected will auto unlock. Yes, it was incredibly stupid that they implemented a progression system based on an incredibly glitchy and downright broken game mechanic. It took them something like a month to patch the explorer note that was under the mesh and entirely inaccessible on extinction, and had been in that broken state since the map came out. So barring any other glitches, it wasn't even possible to achieve when they first added the +10 for all notes. There's also the glitch where if your save data gets reset or corrupted, then it makes all your notes appear as locked again, even though they're still acquired as part of that character's save data on the server. At least for that one you can just enter a command to unlock all notes in single player and that fixes it. I've collected every note, glitch, hologram, dossier, and rune in the game, on xbox official, with my character that started around when Aberration launched. It's definitely possible. The bugs made it way more difficult than it ever should have been, but it's still possible.
EDIT: I'm wrong. Hello. I would like to mention the fact that you do not need to beat King Titan in order to become level 190, since King Titan does not give you any additional levels, and the Homo Deus Record ascension is not needed to obtain the hammer. Kinda ironic a free DLC map for a game that has not put out paid DLC for a couple years now requires you to own old paid dlc to get a special weapon skin made for the free DLC. or use mods, admin commands and single player to flag the unlock for your account.

no, u still need lvl 190 to use it and it is impossible without owning all the dlcs unfortunatly. also giveing all engrams does not unlock the runes. you need to do (giveallexplorernotes) without the brackets to get al notes and all runes WARNING THIS MAY CRASH YOUR GAME. it crashed mine lol

the xp is hell. I reached level 150 with a character that did everything from island to fjördur. I tranfered nothing, exept the character itself, remade it all, and still only reached 150. I am just going to cheat the xp once i have everything else.
I love how hardly no one is reporting on how this is our last free to play map for everyone but the weapon skin is locked behind 2 paid DLC expansion.. So I say maybe just maybe wild card will change how we earn it or we will get another way to earn it in a future Event.. Just saying
Just pasting my reply into the comments so people who don't read replies can see it: It's a TEK Sword with extra abilities. As of now, TEK Swords are the most powerful Melee Weapons, as any of these with over 135% weapon damage will outclass capped Metal Swords. They also have a charge ability (which by the way works in maps where TEK Suit abilities are disabled, such as Genesis 1) and break structures with ease. I got a Journeyman one with 136% DMG from "The Rhino 500" (Genesis 1 Rhino Race Mission), so Blueprints of such quality must be relatively easy to find in Extinction's Purple OSDs. A 135% BP requires around 72% crafting bonus to reach the TEK cap (~160% DMG), which for a lvl 190 player with 189 points invested into it, has about 24% chance to happen. It's a really menacing item at such %DMG, 320 base (versus 270 from capped Metal) to be precise; Additionally, the Mjolnir skin also makes so you use no Element at all and all of its special abilities consume no durability. The special abilities cannot hurt your tames and structures either. What I mean is that thing thing is as good as it gets without breaking the game. The requirements, on the other hand, are ridiculously steep; Hence trying to give a reward matching such requirements is a death sentence to all of ARK's already ruined balance. Wildcard should have just stopped scaling the experience requirements to that point. This is the only "buff" needed.
I'm a little confused as to why people keep saying it's locked through a pay wall, are all bosses not available for free on multiple different maps, say for gen extinction and such, but that ultimately doesn't matter since the Tek sword existed long before them
So basically on console you got no chance because gen 2 dont work ive beat all of them all the but that 1 will never give option to start boss no matter what you do
So I used the explorer notes command because 680+ notes to do with every character and it crashed my game. (even game me a report to go with it) So loaded the game back up and my character has all the notes now but my level cap has not changed. Still at 118 (chibi not fully leveled and 1 beta ascension) but my cap should be 128 so what gives?
I've solved by problem!...Sort of. HLN-A crashes the game and perverts me from getting full completions as here files don't trigger. 1 spent hours putting in every SINGLE note I'd from 1 to 1240 having to stop many times for her but I missed a few. Used the unlock all and it bloody worked filling in the blank! That hammer ant bloody worth doing this more then once

King Titan, Rockwell, Rockwell Prime and the Master Controller are only fightable on paid DLC maps, all of which must be beaten to obtain Mjolnir

3 hours to download, so far 2 hours to install!
So I used the explorer notes command because 680+ notes to do with every character and it crashed my game. (even game me a report to go with it) So loaded the game back up and my character has all the notes now but my level cap has not changed. Still at 118 (chibi not fully leveled and 1 beta ascension) but my cap should be 128 so what gives?
I've solved by problem!...Sort of. HLN-A crashes the game and perverts me from getting full completions as here files don't trigger. 1 spent hours putting in every SINGLE note I'd from 1 to 1240 having to stop many times for her but I missed a few. Used the unlock all and it bloody worked filling in the blank! That hammer ant bloody worth doing this more then once
