in her early career though she was talented, and we know that, it just seemed that she was a bit shy. But now, seeing her growing up to become such a confident and radiant young woman, I feel happy for her.
oh my goodness... you can see the bandages taped to her back. what a courageous young skater, to step on the ice while in such pain so that she wouldn't let her country and fans down... i heard that this might've been her last competition too because of financial reasons. she was really betting it all on these performances. to think that one would have to skate not only for the competition but also for the chance to keep surviving in the sport! wow. truly the "Queen," as they call her.
She really adds a lot to single figure skating. :) -With her, it's not all about the standard --the norm-- squeezing however many 'cool tricks' she can into her program. While she's extremely talented with these high-level-of-difficulty 'tricks', she also seems more concerned in adding a deep expression and art to her skating-- which is soo very much more exciting, and beautiful. :)
