I would say that Ultra Ego to Beerus is like Ultra Instinct to the Angels, Beerus is in a constant state of ego which also kind of explains why he is the strongest god.

I've always taken this as Saiyans have unique bodies that ADAPT to new power in the form of transformation. That's why the angels can use Autonomous Ultra Instinct at any time, while Goku needs to transform to tap into that power. It's also why the Gods of Destruction can use Energy of Destruction at any time, but Vegeta needs to transform to tap into that power.
So yes, these TRANSFORMATIONS are unique to Saiyans. Anyone can theoretically harness the same power on their own, but these forms were created by Saiyans to let themselves use it. A lot of people get confused by this that's why the whole technique vs form debate still exists.

In the granola arc we see Goku use ultra instinct without transforming into the ultra instinct forms and Vegeta use the hakai in base form while training

I reckon these forms are an enhancement skills based on a persons character and ability, remember how they used to turn int super saiyans and having a certain mental state, the enhancement of vegeta loving to battle and getting stronger has manifested into his transformation. So it's all about mental state and what kind of technique/training used that would enhance a person differently. I would imagine each individual who isn't from the divine world given Destruction training will respond differently and gain different abilities. Even with Ultra instinct, whilst the core skill in it evasiveness and angelic powers, it tends to limit the user in the sense that it can only be used by people with certain traits, being mindless and free thinking.

If I recall correctly, Old Kai told the Saiyans, Gohan in particular, that the Super Saiyan transformations were a crutch, that their true power could be tapped into without the transformations. That leads me to believe that the Saiyans subconsciously create false transformations to more easily adapt to higher levels of power. That is to say that Ultra Ego and Ultra Instinct aren't true transformations, but that Vegeta and Goku undergo slight transformations as a way of adapting to that power. (That said, Toppo did undergo both a physical and mental transformation when he embraced the power of a Destroyer God, which would also lead me to believe that Ultra Ego is just Vegeta's name for the same form, but that the unique impact it has on Vegeta's psyche is just a result of Vegeta being a prideful Saiyan, and that the effect varies from user to user.)
Toppo is a Pride Trooper. But Toppo was too focused on Justice. It wasn't until he got beat that his PRIDE took over which caused him to CHOOSE destruction.
Vegeta uses his PRIDE to get stronger and transform. When Vegeta chooses destruction as well, he transforms into Ultra Ego.
The pain of being injured by someone he feels is lesser than him also hurts his pride/ego - which makes him want to destroy them even more, increasing his overall power to destroy.
Imagine fighting your little brother and he beats you. He's your younger brother and shouldn't be able to beat you but he does. Imagine how angry this will make you. You'll do ANYTHING to show that he's beneath you. When you choose to use your real power to win, you transform into Ultra Ego and that's when your mom runs in there to stop you from destroying your brother..

Only the saiyans get the version of the transformation which is why whis told goku that due to him not being an angel his "version" of MUI is different and to not try to be like whis. In fact it's this that allowed goku to develop true ui with saiyan emotions. The transformation you see goku do is a saiyan's adaptation/ version of it.

Ultra Ego itself is the technique of the Gods of Destruction Toyotarou stated and confirmed this in his interview. Its their technique

Y’all might not completely realize it, but according to Freud & Jung & some others.
The Ego is considered the main conscious mind, which goes back to what who’s said, vegeta is constantly thinking & applying pragmatic thought into his fights, while goku usually prefers to go with the flow, sometimes without thought, in which gave him Ultra instinct going off of Freud or jung, jung I’d prefer to cite better, goku is going off of his unconscious, to fried this may be either his superego or I’d controlling his actions unconsciously, or jung, which goes back to the stored pool of the collective unconscious, which for goku would be the heritage of the saiyans & gods, specifically him pulling from the Saiyan God’s part in the collective unconscious.
But back into the topic, the word ego is simply our conscious self, so to have a completely ultra ego, would be to say vegeta’s mind is completely free from the influence of his unconscious vice or virtue, which would align with vegeta’s need to free himself from the dead saiyan principles & standards he has lingering on his soul as his planet & civilization is gone which he especially feels in debt to as the supposed to be heir robbed of his kingdom, which mirrors his superego. & his id trying to also keep him in line with his unconscious saiyan instincts & desires, for things such as fighting, which compared to goku he’ll never be the best at applying because of the weight of his superego affecting the applicability of his id.
So for vegeta, a person who was meant to be a king, an externally focused position, is no longer the best use of his potential, it is to be like beerus, for his ego to have full dominance over his actions, & no other judge over his actions but himself & that is to act as a destroyer.
Does Beerus really need a Ultra Ego transformation? Think about it, Vegeta and Toppo have forms to harness Destruction ki whereas Beerus always had it.

This is stated by Whis, and he even offers Goku the job after Beerus retires or is killed. In the same way, a character isn’t necessarily BORN with the hakai ki. We know that vegeta and goku had to train to be able to try to use the hakai ability at all. The theory I was talking about is that Beerus and Champa are born with this ability naturally as it’s a part of the race. The same way saiyans can turn great ape simply because it’s in their DNA, beerus and champa could possibly use hakai energy due to a similar situation.

You know, I never actually thought about it for Toppo. When Toppo became a G.O.D. he had the strength of one and even the techniques, not to mention he even had the mindset of destruction (he was literally willing to destroy EVERYTHING just to catch Android 17 and was gonna erase Frieza). All he was missing was his battle lust, he had it in his base form since he likes fighting for justice, but lost it when he became a G.O.D. I think it would be very fitting to see Toppo have Ultra Ego as a transformation, he literally has ALL the necessary traits, not to mention a form to put it in.

Wasnt it confirmed that saiyans create forms that enhance godlike powers like ss god and the transformations to follow if so i think only another saiyan can get an ultra ego form but with enough training i think anyone can use ultra ego they just might not be able to make an optimized form for it like the saiyans
I think of ssg is like a base form if they were to stay in it then amplified by 50× if they go ssb (it's technically a lot like dbz namek through buu saga)

Beerus says it himself, you have to focus entirely on destruction. Toppo was conflicted he had abandoned himself. Vegeta is closer as his Saiyan battle lust is better aligned, BUT against Granolah he knew Granolah had legitimate beef. If he were fighting say Moro or Frieza he wouldn't have that issue.
Also being in the Zone or the Flow State as science calls it, is very similar to UE.
Can't wait till we see UI and UE be brought into their constant states or base form. Allowing both to essentially be like the destroyers and angels and always be in that state, with no need for transformation.
Can we imagine for a second an integrated UI or UE base going SSJ? Or SSG. That would be crazy. And a nice way to make UI and UE more useful since they're already outclassed by frieza.

Like Goku trying to master Ultra Instinct in his base form, I'm assuming that will be the ultimate same goal for Vegeta and Ultra Ego. I imagine same goes for Beerus how the angels are always in Ultra Instinct, Beerus always has immediate access to his destructive powers without having to do any kind of transformation or power up.

I used to not understand the no eyebrows. But after seeing how it’s a sign of them tapping into their inner beast(like SSJ3), I get it. It’s like their face is more ape like with heavy brow ridge. So I really like this form.

Then him with ultra ego is like black frieza x 20 kaioken.
I imagine toppo’s transformation is akin to roshi’s max power, freeza’s 100%, or to a lesser degree ssj1 grade 3, a general boost to power is they use the energy of destruction. Ultra ego like ultra ego is a(currently) saiyan exclusive transformation that allow use the energy and/or ability more effectively which is why vegeta was able to not just have the general increase of power from the destruction energy, but also increase in power proportion to damage taken
Toppo was using his Hakaishin form whiel Ultra ego feeds of of ego thus the name the ego of being punched just to get up stronger its like a sayian zenkai boost form in that matter
I’d say Ultra Ego is unique to Vegeta, but that it’s still possible that the power of Hakai can effect its users in different ways. The abilities of UE seem to boost Vegeta’s already existing abilities, likely due to him being a Saiyan, so I have a hunch that the power of the Hakai can also boost the natural abilities of other races, as long as they were trained to use that power. I can’t say for sure that other races would go through a transformation like Toppo or Vegeta did, but it would be interesting to consider that some could transform while other races use it as just a power-up instead. With all that said, UE may have given us interesting knowledge on God of Destructions and how Hakai Users may work.

I know this is more obvious with what we know now, but I'd imagine that there will be a True Ultra Ego that changes it from a transformation to more just a state of being, like True UI.
I would say saiyans are always adapting and creating new transformations as a way to meet an immediate need of greater constitution and power reserves required in life threatening scenarios. Ultra ego is probably vegetas body evolving to handle destruction energy. Thusly it’s an actual saiyan transformation and not just a technique or state of mind. It is a saiyan evolving to use destruction energy in combat. Same for ultra instinct, gokus body changes when he uses it, it is his body transforming to be capable of using such a powerful technique meant for the angels. While frieza may be able to train and unlock new forms and high power levels, saiyans are able to adapt as they battle and create new forms on the fly
I assume Beerus, Champa and a few other destroyers are always in said form because that’s their purpose, role and technique in general… Same applies to Whis and the Angels and Goku’s UI… That’s their technique.

Just because he has Hakai energy and ultra instinct doesn't mean he wouldn't use ultra ego in the future. In fact UE is more in line with his personality compared to UI and on top of that he said himself that UE was the GOD equivalent to UI. He probably hasn't used that shit yet because Goku and Vegeta aren't strong enough to deal with him at that level (mainly because the author keeps increasing beerus's power but that's besides the point)

I always thought ultra ego should have been like ultra instinct. Anybody can technically get it it’s just really hard to. And I always thought ultra ego should have been fueled by self-esteem and ego making you more powerful.

@@notagain2856I doubt that cause we never saw Beerus getting stronger as much damage as he takes during the battle. And the power and strength increase from Ultra Ego after taking damage is wayyyyyyyy more than than any Zenkai Boost in the series I guess. I think all Beerus taught Vegeta is how to use Hakai, but searching for a technique that feeds on battle lust and becomes stronger as more the user takes damage was Vegeta's own journey. I assume that further in the series, we might see Vegeta not only getting stronger as more damage he takes, but getting stronger even when he lands a successful blow on the opponent, as a successful hit can increase battle lust too.
Honestly, I think this makes more sense than Ultra Instinct.
I've always thought to myself that Top's God of destruction form was ultra ego with the key difference that vegeta's version of it feeds of his battle lust as you've mentioned but i wasn't too sure if they were as similar as i made them out to be

I’m a lil late to this post but from what you said on this video and what I already know I’d say ultra ego is like ultra instinct in the way that there are different ways people will us it. Like goku doesn’t us ultra instinct the way that the angles do and an perfect example is gokus new form of it. And how toppo has his universes symbol on him but vegeta doesnt. They may both be trained by gods of destruction, but you don’t have to have the title to make the power your own

I got a weird feeling that if Vegeta accepted the offer to be a GoD in training that he would gain Hakaishin symbols in his Ego form. The thing I don’t understand is why Vegeta won’t do it. Even if he has a family now, he should logically realize that he will get his moment as a Destroyer in the far future when the time is right.
Right now, I just see it as Vegeta has truly changed for the good, becoming a lot less destructive in nature. I think the point of him going down this path is to gain understanding that he can both destroy and do a good for the universe. I think even currently, the way he uses UE is not proper; there are likely several ways to tap into the power outside of battle lust.
This is literally theorizing, so if you walk in here talking about some “it won’t happen bc it won’t happen” type deal, I’m not gonna even reply. But if anyone wants to debate about it, I’m down.

That's what I legitimately thought at first sight.
To the extent that Toyotarou is a fan who was lucky enough to get tapped by Toriyama to draw the DBS manga, though I believe I read that he still needed Toriyama's approval and/or input as the work is a collaborative effort! Also Toriyama benefits from having an actual fan who remembers old characters like King Chapa & even the likes of Onio from Nekomajin, as Toriyama is somewhat notorious for forgetting certain aspects of his own series & since he doesn't draw DBS, Toriyama can focus more on story & world building!
Mind you this is just my two cents regarding the topic & I am thankful someone like Toyotarou is able to work with Toriyama to make the Dragon Ball Super manga what it is today! Ultra Ego fits Vegeta's character well & though he still has some room to grow in order to truly make it his own mirroring Goku's own work in making Ultra Instinct his own!

The fact that Beerus have not pass that of 15% of his true power is horrifyingly intriguing
Beerus has gone to 80% but we haven't seen it yet.
Vegeta is the only Ultra Ego user, and all that form is a mortal tapping into Destruction powers without being a God of Destruction. Toppo meanwhile has become one during the fight, as he is meant to be the next GoD of his Universe
We don’t see it as a transformation from Beerus, bc he’s always in that state, just like Whis (and the other angels) are constantly in a state of UI. To them (angels with UI and Beerus with UE) it’s not a transformation, it’s their base forms.

Nah, for Saiyans, it definitely counts as a transformation. Especially UE. Like, you know Vegeta normally has eyebrows, right? It's pretty explicitly stated that the Saiyan's unique physiology causes them to transform in response to new forms of power.
perhaps beerus never needed to alter his power by transformation bc his base destroyer form is still the most powerful in his universe.

Honestly shouldve done something like this sooner. Z ruined powerscaling with just bigger number, but if each character gets their own unique form, maybe some unique moves and bam dragon ball is back
This is not for GoD's, correct me if i'm wrong, but it hasn't been confirmed this is a 'Beerus/ gods of destruction' thing in the same way UI is a definitive 'angels' thing. (Vegeta says the form is his own, implying it is driven from both Beerus 'Destruction ki' training _AND_ his own drive/creation in the middle of the Granolah fight. )
Now:
in likely-hood, much like a lot of Vegeta's behavior during the start of UE. you can chuck it up to Vegeta gassing himself up because he is trying to maintain the form and the "Ego" it requiers, so saying that he "earned it from someone else(Beerus)" might not be the thing he'd wanna say in the moment, especially as he is (presumably) first tapping into it successfully .
Still- We have no prove of one or the other, and if other GoDs had that sort of ability/transformation due to their common usage of 'destruction', you would think they'd have used it in the mini Tournament of Destroyers befor the ToP, meaning either Beerus alone has it and that's part of what makes him the strongest, or it really is made up by Vegeta similar to how Goku needs to come up with his own "Instinct" form; either way, as of now there doesn't seem to be a solid confirmation of either of those cases in the manga.

I guarantee there going to use the Vegeto or gogeta fusion and combine ultra instinct with ultra ego for the ultimate offense and defensive warrior I'm calling it now, but I can't wait till Goku and Vegeta witness Gohans beast transformation, the next season of super has alot of potential for a lot of "breaking the Internet" moments
They can't fuse UI and UE, just switch between them
I’d imagine the primary difference between the two is just how Vegeta and Toppo choose to use it. Ultra Instinct for example might work completely differently for someone that isn’t Goku.
Ultra Ego is a "transformation" created by Vegeta. Beerus doesn't use it as he doesn't transform. The thing is UE uses the power of destruction (so Beerus' power) and in order to use that power Vegeta needed to transform. It similar to MUI, it is a transformation that allows Goku to use the perfected version of the angel specialised techniques but the Angel themselves don't transform , you are never going to see Whis Sign just as you never going to see Ultra Ego Beerus. These forms are just a way for Goku and Vegeta to use abilities that are normally utilized by the gods.
Beerus is always using destruction energy, you can literally tell by his aura
In Dragonball Super (Canon) Vegita was the first, but in Dragonball GT (Noncanon) Android 17 mastered Ultra Ego way before Vegita did

Ultra ego its a state of mind just like UI, but the saiyans having the ability to transform and improve themselves makes vegeta achieve that transformation

They stated in the manga that each God of Destruction is different in a way. Some inherent special abilities and sacred abilities. Vegatas Wall of Destruction is one of those sacred abilities only very few can use because it’s Destruction that protects him. Ultra Ego is his state of being a God of Destruction.
