- After two days of tornadoes in less than a week, Pittsburgh has already seen more than normal this year. So what's behind these outbreaks of severe weather? KDKA-TV's Kristin Emery explains.
Is tornado alley shifting east?
Not shifting: more like expanding.
we have El Nino jet stream back this year always freakish and wicked often.
also for gov. buddies contractors We are becoming concrete from sea to sea, nothing to block the storms, We need Regulations removed to bring back all our industries n mfg back! not fake green and a retail dump and babbler jobbers.
A tornado in Pittsburgh is crazy
I lived in moon Twnsp. 20 yrs.... There were no such average tornadoes of 6 a year.... Tornadoes were unheard of in the Pittsburgh area....
I was wondering about that because I live in NYS and don’t remember ever hearing of them in PA.
I’ve gained new respect for KDKA since you didn’t blame the farce ‘global warming’ as the cause.

6 tornadoes a year in pittsburgh? lmao! yeah RIGHT! pittsburgh hasn't gotten any tornadoes, this is a total lie.
source?
@@Miistli the footage they show in this so-called news "story" is from Oklahoma. if there's 6 tornadoes a year in pittsburgh, why don't they show the footage from any of those? because there are no tornadoes in pittsburgh. i've lived here since 1999, and all the residents know there's no tornadoes. the closest thing we had was a microburst in 1999 in Mt Washington, and another microburst in 2021. they are just trying to push climate change

@@__ZANE__ ??? the NWS doesn't lie. Do your research. People's homes have almost been completely destroyed and trees have been uprooted. sure there isn't video evidence because people were taking cover, but there's plenty of evidence for the aftermath. You must not have heard of the May 31, 1985 tornado outbreak in northeastern ohio/northwest Pennsylvania. Can't ignore the fact that Jefferson county has had many tornadoes from 2021-2024 as well, and i'm sure there have been plenty more. just because you haven't experienced it doesn't it can't happen
@@__ZANE__They're just saying Pittsburgh as in the Pittsburgh region not the city proper
