Dave put in his time studying the science of making impactful sound, then blasted off into the universe and gathered raw materials of cosmic matter, amalgamated and synthesized new organic and alchemical creations --> then fed it all into computers and carefully tended to his craft right through the mastering at the end. Out comes an incredibly dreamy, blissful, work of art that calms and clears my mind eepecially at its most cluttered.
That's a good explanation
and this set only got one tipper own music lol but yes, he's a master of the sound design
well said mah dude
@@PauloBLKNS theres 5 tipper made tracks. Two of his own end three with crunch but yea your point remains. He's a master at mixing.
WHO IS YOUR PLUG
This entire festival was the most musically impactful of my life, truly the peak of of the good times before the crash
this is far out......great Head music.....back in the day, mannnn, this would have been just what the doctor ordered......this is a great way to chill out......would have been perfect in Nam. Glad I found David Tipper and his tunes.
Tipper is awesome, indeed. Check out Brombaer if you enjoy the ambient/chill.
Randall Underwood You're such a badass Randall. We appreciate you.
crediblemusic Brombaer is gold, thank you for the discovery!
Randall Underwood Would've been perfect in Nam!!! I love it!!! Would've been perfect in Iraq too cruising through the deserts watching the sunsets to sunrises over the Euphrates! Semper Fi
Randall Underwood How do you define "Head Music?" I couldn't find anything on Google and I am curious about maybe finding more.
I feel like I was just chewed up and swallowed...Man I love Tipper!
Some of these songs are insanely emotional. Tipper is the best, hope I get to see him some more this year
def the kind of mix my stomach likes to rock before breakfast
ok ok ok, where is THIS side of electronic music NOW in 2022. Any pointers welcome. Seriosly, comment the hell outa this
Where can one download/ purchase this mix??? love it
+Balekane Legoabe there's a program you can get called RUclips Downloader, you can use it to download the video and convert it to an MP3
Will he ever perform in western or northern Europe...yes please... Has he once performed in Europe the last 7 years?
I hear you. He never comes to his old home country anymore. I would love to him live - an amazing and gifted Maestro!
Andrew Turner I would travel quite a bit for his show... but USA is out of my budget :(
herrizaax Especially if hes together with Android Jones... I would kill for that
***** fuck you :P man why didnt I know this... I actually sort of pay attention to his whereabouts but everytime I look its all USA
herrizaax Sorry you all haven't got to hear this man live. Truly inspiring, beautiful sounds. Hope you all get to experience this in time! Love from usa.
Where did you find this
Got from a friend like 10 years ago (or so).
You might be shocked but it's possible to appreciate this amazing music set while lucid. You should try it sometimes
Nobody here is shocked.
This set is an IDM wet dream. Throw in some live scratching and I’m fucking blissed out. This set introduced me to so much amazing music that so few people have heard. I wish I could make people understand how amazing this music is. For now I’ll just nod to the beats like some tripped out weirdo and love every second.
Its like Dave's a doctor that knows what sound corresponds to every synapse in your brain. And he pushes the buttons curated in the most unexpected and impressive ways.
This set was my very first introduction to Tipper. Had never heard anything from him before, but I had heard the name. I had taken 300ug on a solo trip one night, and was sitting outside on my deck around sunset. Put on some noise cancelling headphones, stumbled across this vid, and played it on repeat for almost 4 hours, just absolutely mind-blown the entire time. Couldn't believe this music existed without my knowledge. It was the greatest thing I'd ever heard. That was back in 2016, and like 2 months after that experience I went to Tipper & Friends Suwannee and started my obsession with seeing Tipper live. Have now seen him live over 20 times all across the country, and been introduced to so many other incredible artists because of it
hahahahahahahaaaaaa.......ditto!!!
This set has become a mainstay for me over the years. I can't think of many mixes I'd call legit masterpieces, but this is definitely one of em
Yes this kicks ass and all his older shit does. Newer shit is too dub step for me.
I meditate to this sober to just clear my mind and remind myself to be thankful for being me and tipper fighting his cancer back then. My moms got that shit sucks but this meditation session really put me at ease.

The most useless comment ever on youtube^
Cool!!!Free drugs on RUclips !!
Sure why don't you check your tickets!
I can't count the amount of times I've digested this set. these sounds take me to the highest of highs. God's love. liquid light.
check out virga, from his album flunked
Im.obsessed with wobble factor lately. I can even listen to it sober. Which for me has never been a thing until this last trip.
Self replicating machine elves all up in my head right now.
I had the craziest experience with those folks. I think it was "female," but I honestly couldn't be sure. She sort of just appeared through all this color and light, and her eyes were directly in front of mine, and they were like a piercing white, with no pupil. She would speak in this humming, whisper language and I could literally see her voice in color, move along the ground and the walls at me. It was absolutely mind boggling. She would sort of dance, and she would skip and we would change rooms. The designs on the walls would change, and the colors were all different. It was truly an incredible experience. I could see her, and could see this morphing shape, and the deeper I looked into the shape, more would come out from it. Space and time totally melted. I thought I had died, but had this sort of indifferent feeling about it. Like, "I'm dead, but oh well." It was absolutely insane.
@@notlittlebrain Sounds incredible. DMT?
@@SubsonicWhat yep
Holy moly that first song i just wanted it to burst out in super fast percussions like old school Amon Tobin. That track was killer. 😁
I've heard hundreds of sets and this one is my favorite
I feel like ive missed you all for so long. But somehow we just met today like we were supposed to.
Yes! I've missed you too, nice to meet you! ❤

Listen to this one too
I'm a veteran of psychedelics and I'm not sure what I just heard
Go see a show. It's the only producer i have ever seen that can make the ENTIRE crowd dance. There isn't anyone who isn't moving.
Same, this shit just sounds so alien I love it
Thabk you for the upload, this album (and others like it) really helped me get through my CS degree sanity intact, the right amount of focus and chill
Tipper helps me turn inside out and blast to the center
Go to the hospital
Through it !!!
Отличное настроение, когда понимаешь, что есть такие люди, которых увлекает подобный стиль! Благодарю
We must bring you back to land of the living, that is why I have arranged this meeting.........come into the labratory
Hey. Is it 3 years later? How did i get here? First time hearing this. Am i in a Time Machine? I love Tipper
tipper is godly.
+Dani Zareen
So is Heyoka/Andreilien & Shpongle (Simon)
Liquid X
Tipper is God*
Actually just a super normal humble guy
@@liquidx5215 and Shulman ..insanely good. The best album by far being In Search of a Meaningful Moment. The Unexpected Visitor track is truly mind-blowing.
Such a cohesive mix, it really feels like it all comes together at the end....timeless.
Question: What kinds of state are real?
Master: States that occur before a thought has arisen are real. Once deluded thoughts wiggle their way to the surface, you have already been thinking about what you would like to see; consequently, most of what you encounter are false.
Anon1 c
Anon1 yup
Profound man!
could u imagine seeing this live like 6 years ago
6 years ago I didn't even know Tipper
6 years ago was 6 years ago.
I did at wakarusa it was amazing I was sober but it was insane
15 years ago...
Lmao I did, my first exposure to Tipper was Shambhala
It's like it pulls you in, and then you are just along for the ride. Super interesting.
Tipper is the fucking man! Such a huge influence on me musically, like so many others. His sound manipulation and mixing skills are the best I have ever heard, bar none.
Tipper and proem
Tipper is a master of Downtempo himself with tracks like No Dice, Love this!
That change between the first and second track gets me every single time, so damn good.
Caught 2 sets at Great North Fest in Norridgewock, Maine last month.
Do yourself a favor and catch a tipper set!
if he would ever go to europe.. sure
herrizaax he played fabric in london a couple of times over the last 10 years, but apart from that he only ever seems to play in us/canada :(
i was there too he killed it :)
That qbert set in between was just straight fire
Been looking for this mix from 2006 for so long. Yes!
It's music. God is YOU!
i am out of my body and floating and melting
Aren't you selling some spiritual keyboard? (link please!!!!)
me too my guy
Goosebumps every fucking time I listen to this mix, especially the last part, damn super smooth. It's not just BoC, but Tipper's good and proper mixing skills.
so good to see the boards of canada love at the end
for real
wish it had cindercone. Awesome though thx. Great for working in the linux shell deep into the night. I found out about tipper long ago from groovesalad.
lol he hadn’t even made cindercone yet. This mix is ‘06
I listened to this the first time I blasted off on DMT and I had to turn it off
Ryzkax why?
Probably had an out of body experience back into his body while also being inside his head controlling his body that he's now outside of.
@@dustynmartin7432 I once had that when I was lost with some friends in Amsterdam.
Was like walking in 3rd person mode. Super weird.
3 dried grams in complete darkness..... holy fucking shit 🍄❤
Magnifique Mix et en live... Ce type est un prodige de la musique électronique, fréquence placements de ces sons, polirythmie, très gros boulot pour sa discographie... Encore un mec qui déchire, avec si peu de reconnaissance.... 😩😩
how the fuck does this only have 86,000 views but ok
Атмосферная, глубокая, интересная электронная музыка, такой стиль мне по душе
Ymmv.
Imagine delivering a tweet.
Usps.
Or perhaps you..
Dont.
some of the best music in existence right here
Does anyone know where I can find “My Version 6” by Tigrics used in this mix? I have scoured the internet for days with no results. It’s like it doesn’t exist anymore. The original “My Version” can be easily found but I’m looking for the one in this mix in particular. A bunch of producers including Tipper have used it. It’s such a good VIP.
the final song :o
BOC
Coming back to this mix after a few years. Thanks for adding those chapter markers!
The Laboratory. Come in. Fuck yeah, Dave. I wish I could.
29:40 sounds like the sounds the metroid makes in super metroid's main theme that plays in the title screen
Wow! That is SUPER cool, love Metroid. Hoping Prime 4 is everything we are wanting it to be.
This music increases IQ by 15.
I was your 666th subscriber. Do I win a vacation in hell?
YOOO CHILLLLLLLLLL MUHFUGGA. I wish this dude came to canadda more I only got to see him once at summer camp somehow. The whole crowd danked dmt when he came on.
That sound at 8:30-8:50 is what dmt sounds like to me. Spooky how similar.
Why at 2:20 Brought me back to playing hexic. (For those who played)
who created this picture????
Learning about New Schwabenland whilst listening to this is certainly a surreal experience.
41:28 Soul of boards of canada
really missing the downtempo aspect of the scene these days
nice mellow sounds, thanks for sharing
Ads in the middle of a mix should be a fucking crime
Tipper... Tipper never changes. I fought in the Psychedelic Wars, I was on the Shroom Front, then they sent me to LSD Land and just when I thought I could go home, I had to conquer Mescaline Hill. But nothing I saw or did could have prepared me for Tipper. Tipper never changes...
Ah yeah, brings me down. Thx a lot.
22:00 I remember coming up on lsd watching a 75w lazor set up in side (a lil bit powerful) but amazing, writing our names with it on the walls
This reminds me of when I dropped off food to my brother
I wish someone more capable than me would be able to note the tracklist :)
There should be a 10 hour loop of this ❤
I'm only here for the 1-clicks
Goddamn it, he's fucking good
Mission st.... Please..

The ending to this got me like XD

Péter Szémann Incredible! Do you have a playlist to upload at all? Plz :)
+Billy Rigney It's a ton of dubplates, bittersweet.
Ugly Taylor Would love to know the name of the track around 20:00
caseystu123 h
Can we get a track list going? Also, this is an awesome mix!
this would be hard because most of his music he mixes live and has very little of it released.
wish i could tell you more, but 1st is rumpistol - gargamel & cholic, 2nd is soul position - no excuse for lovin' instrumental :)
BwoyDeBhajan ey BwoyDeBhajan I just discovered your music about a week ago awesome stuff man. i love your sound design very tipperessqueish. botanical nectars and that remix you did of iller - peaceful mind state are two of my favourites. keep up the good work brother and keep an eye on this guy folks if you haven't checked out his beats do it

it took me till this set to realize oh shit, i'm tripping balls and didn't even know it damn
Tell me he is not influenced by Aphex Twin/Squarepusher, and I will call you a liar.
no one ever said he wasn't influenced by aphex twin/squarepusher
Some Plaid in there. 'Light Rain' from Double Figure.
