I don't know if you know this or not but a lot of scents are really bad for cats! A lot of oils in diffusers are toxic for cats and lighting candles and burning incense is very bad for their lungs, but there are some cat-friendly products out there! I understand wanting things to smell good all the time so there's no need to eliminate it but maybe you could also consider looking into some safer ones too? (it's also better for your lungs too!!)

Watching you step up and admit you are having a hard time, and difficulty keeping things right in your personal space caused me to sit up and take notice. Hi I suffer with depression and anxiety really badly to the point where I cannot work and when I get to really bad with my depression and anxiety I can’t be bothered to do anything my flat looks like a bombs hit it as I don’t give a shit and that’s not until I’ve come out the other side that I then decide to tidy up and clean.
