Omg, I have never seen shoes shine like yours!! Wow, what a magnificent job. Love Kiwi polish; used it most of my life. Thanks a lot for a wonderful video. Take care.
@CA933AFJROTC A hair dryer is actually a fairly viable option. There's a shoe shiner at Lackland that pretty much gets your shoes looking like coreframes in less than ten minutes and he uses one.
Good job on it C/MSgt, I'd recommend running some parade shine over it afterwards if your being inspected soon or going to a competition. -C/2LT Nunez AL-791 AFJROTC.
Kiwi Polish - Brush - Watar - Cloth. thats mostly it. Like you do circular motions on the shoes then get cloth with dab of watar to do the same thing. After that buff it with brush. Check your shoes when finish and buff it the last time to get a good result.
im in NJROTC and this is my first time actually doing this. (im a freshmen) and so im having trouble with the lighter part and i have a uniform inspection this Wednesday and im so scared that i might fail it. by the way would this still work with the military gloss shoe polish and without a lighter? please help me
just make sure your gig line is good, no wrinkles on your clothes, tags and ribbons in the right place and black socks... and a nice glow to your shoes and you'll be fine.. don't be nervous
I'm airman Commanding Officer of Color Guard CA-883 AFJROTC of Rubidoux High School. My Sgt.'s shoes are beautiful as those nice work man keep it up. Anyone from here going to Fontana High School Drill Meet this Saturday? March 9th? I'm going with my teams Unarmed/Color Guard. -C/Airman Siebel
Where could you buy them because im going into a state trooper explorers program and they suggested those or corframs. I would appreciate it. Thank you.
Faith King I get a ton of compliments from the senior cadets by taking a cottonball, wetting it and rubbing the area of the shoe before actually applying polish to open up the leather, than I take that damp cotton ball and put polish on it rub the polish in good until there not really smears on the shoe, and buff it really good, more friction the better the shine. repeat until satisfied and you'll be looking sharp
Hey guys I found a way that is replaces the lighter if you are afraid of damaging your shoes. Just use a hair dryer put it on high and leave for 3-6 seconds and just follow the video
Hi, I'm from the CA-863rd Cadet Group at Del Campo HS in Fair Oaks. I was wondering if you guys wear ABUs. And also, what school you are from. -C/TSgt Madise

can i purchase the same shoes you guys use if i am a civilian?..i cant stand the way they design mens dress shoes these days...most if not all of them have a large elevated heel (lame)...these look like just regular old fashioned dress shoes....and they shine up nice!

-C/1Lt Hosier NC-074 AFJROTC
Its out of regulation to use a lighter and in some schools if your SASI figures out what youre doing you fail inspection.
im in Arizona wing and getting ready to go into afjrotc
C/Airman Kulhanek, do you have problems with little scratches from shining your shoes?
Gonna try it now. Hope it goes well!!! :)
Thank you C/TechSgt Shoemaker

-C/TSgt. Folgar NY-773 AFJROTC

Faith King fire shine if done right is really good but you have to much to sacrifice if doing a fire shine method
thank you soo much man
Do you have to use the lighter??
this is how i do mine (minus the fire shine).C/PO2 White Lehman HS NJROTC
I have done that but I used water to make that and it is good

I'm in AFJRROTC
I feel so out of place, because instead of being in AFJROTC, I'm in CAP. But great video!
Awesome video but why do your shoes look shinier in the beginning than in the end :(
I'm tempted to call bs when he says they aren't patent leather (chlorofram). They look like patent leather that someone has applied polish to.
Im not using a lighter, im using a hair dryer, is that ok?
Also adding to the previous comment you are a Airman First Class
your shoes were laced wrong in the begining anyway, you had them bridge laced, but that may just be for navy jrotc
Thank you C/A1C Pritt ^^
I should be sorta ashamed Dx
Im Seamen Palomino and i dont even know how to properly shine my shoes -.-
you don't get the dust off WITH YOUR HANDS
there's something invented called "horsebrush"
i cannot do this because im using boot to shine
What does a flight commanders insignia look like and what rank are they I'm just wondering what my new rank will be like?
