- Here's an unboxing of Leave It To Beaver: The Complete Series on Blu-Ray. I also compare it with the older Shout! Factory DVD release of this show that was released many years ago.

first one here! this was an amazing un-boxing of a series that I never personally watched myself. and what's kinda funny is that the characters on the DVD set are in grayscale (black and white). while on the Blu-ray set, they are in color, which is not very matching with how the series looks.
so in terms of artwork, the DVD set did a little bit more consistent job since it matches more with the actual series looks. and here's a little tip: if you want all the special features and bonus materials, i would advise that you probably keep your DVD set as well. that way, you'll have all the original bonus content along with a better picture quality on the Blu-ray set. great video! 💗
Very cool on the old dvd set, the commentaries are from a call in radio show and one of them has the show where I called in. Was amazed when i got the set that they kept those portions on there!!! Got a chance to ask Frank Bank and Ken Osmond a question. Wish I could have called in and spoke to the other shows as well with Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow!!!!
Gee that’s pretty neat Wally ! I would love to have this and the Andy Griffith set. Thankfully I have my most wanted set the Hal roach collection Laurel and hardy box set.
I have the Leave It To Beaver, The Andy Griffith Show, and Batman (1966) complete series blu-ray sets. I used to watch the TV Land channel often with my family and I enjoyed a lot of those old shows. I'd buy Gilligan's Island on blu-ray if it was ever available. Until then I have the DVD set for it. My Dad has the DVD sets for Leave It To Beaver, Green Acres, Bewitched, I Dream Of Jeannie, The Munsters, I Love Lucy, Pettycoat Junction, and two '90s shows Everybody Loves Raymond DVD & Friends blu-ray. My '90s sitcoms complete series sets are Full House, Home Improvement, The King Of Queens, The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, and Family Matters (all DVD). I hope to soon add The Cosby Show complete series DVD to my collection as well. The only one of the '90s sitcoms I'd want on blu-ray is Home Improvement. The DVD set video quality is not very good. I loved watching almost all of these shows in this comment at one time or another since childhood on some and since my early teen years on some. I know no one asked, but at least that's a good list of shows I'd recommend giving a try to anyone who hasn't seen some of or any of them. Even though I don't care for Friends a lot of folks I know love it and I haven't watched Pettycoat Junction to form an opinion on it my parents both love it.
The interesting thing about the the Shout Factory set is that a few years ago, they reissued it without the bonus disc.

I would get the Shout! Factory one since it has more bonus features then the Blu-Ray one.

The Powerpuff Girls complete series box set is getting a re-release and Dexter's Laboratory is getting a complete series release and currently is only confirmed on DVD, but rumor circulating is that a blu-ray is possible later. You can currently pre-order The Powerpuff Girls box set and it releases on May 17th. Also, Scooby-Doo On Zombie Island/Return To Zombie Island Hanna-Barbera double feature and The New Batman Adventures are each getting blu-ray releases on April 30th.

Weird seeing that Universal Pictures Home Entertainment logo on there. Usually you see SDS' logo instead.

Too bad shout factory didn’t release this blu ray set. Oh well, this’ll be one less release that you’ll show in your future collection video showing all your shout factory releases.
