Random question but is there a “back” or “front” to the lens? Or can it be fitted either way around? I have just fitted mine and it doesn’t look as clear as it did with the old lens. The original lens is black under light and the new one is blue
In order to check the bottom camera, you need to zoom out, between 0.5 and 0.9. Otherwise it uses the top lens. Which funny enough I need to replace my top lens because it broke when I dropped my phone earlier hahahah
Is the replacement lens as good as the original ? I wonder if the camera quality is worse. Obviously if the lens is completely shattered then you don’t have much choice but to replace. Would you still recommend replacing if there’s hairline damage?

i did this today it turned out good i broke one of the double sided adhesive so i used b7000 clear and it worked

the glass, as long as it is clean and without damage, has no effect on the quality of the image. the glass is only there to protect the sensor

What if lens isn’t cracked but scratched. Easier to crack it to remove?
Yes, they will crack very easily. Just crack them gently with the point of the tweazers.

You checked the 1x lens which is the top. The bottom one is the 0.25 ultra wide
You didn’t even use the correct camera for the test, the TOP CAMERA is normal 1.0x, the BOTTOM CAMERA is 0.5x
