Oh yes, many of us Martians feels his smile is contagious, like a disease, but a very good disease, his soul is so pure maybe this is the reason. He is very mature, he said this in his recent variety show "instead of pursuing happiness, he pursue a state of not unhappy". This mindset blew me away, this really makes you view the world in a different perspective. For such a young guy (much younger than me lol) but somehow has a more mature side than me. He said that apart from music he didn't do great at school but in an interview "time with kevin", when asked about the relationship between composing and math he said he enjoyed math a lot and he almost got full marks in all his math exams and it was also later found out by Martians that he once won the runner up in a national level math competition. When he first debuted, he once got a chance to perform on a very important occasion (ChunWang, the chinese new year eve celebration, it's a chance even the established singers would very much desire and compete for) but when asked to fill in the details of himself, he wrote down "none" under the column "musical instruments you are good at". It was back when he first debuted so people didnt really know he pretty much knows how to play almost all the instruments and now looking back, some think it's funny and mischevious so they asked him why did he do that he just put on his cute smile and said because he's lazy to write too much at that time.
He always think out of the box, there's why he has endless styles n full of surprises. Check out his clip of his last year Mars concert n u will know why 90,000 tickets sold out in less than 2 mins. 120,000 fans online trying hard to grab a ticket.

I,m so glad you watched this. I have seen it many times and every time I smile and laugh. If you want to know more about his superboy days there videos of his performances. My favorite is a duet with Laure Sheng who was the judge that liked him and sang with him. They don't have these with English subs. There is a documentary on his season that includes lots of Hua and has English subs.
Now you've had a glimpse about who he is and how he thinks. I love his music so much, and I love who and how he is as a person as well, even more acctualy. He is so down to earth and humble, and he has a unique way of looking on life, we just have so much to learn from him. But it difficult to talk about his music and him as two separate things, because he is music. He has simply given himself completely over to music. Whether he have or have not a girlfriend, it is not something martians discus. His privacy is his own and we are all just happy for all that he shares, how much and when he wants. There are just so much respect between him and his fans. He is quite modest about his grades. He was quite good at math and he mentioned that he didn't like to memorize, but finds math super easy because there is no need for memorizing at all.
I first got interested in hua because of his music. However he was so good i had to learn more and discovered a very remarkable individual behind it all. I think you both will have a lot of fun if you continue to react.
