I love these old low budget movies from the 70's and 80's. Many of them actually have more realism, deal in bare-bones facts and have more true grit and determination than most other higher budget movies.
Got My Brown Belt at the Mississauga Hurontario and Dundas School....TIP Grandmaster Park...I loved this movie as a kid and cheered for you every time I watched it...
Rest in Peace my friend. I just found out today when I contacted the new owners of the school and I cried. Thank you for teaching me Tae Kwon Do and being my friend.
LoL... Me too. I remembered it, but not the name or the actors so I had no way to find it. Back in the HBO days when it wasn't even 24 hours/day.... LoL.
Stunt coordinator for this was the legendary Buddy Joe Hooker who did stunts for dozens of movies, from Blazing Saddles to Close Encounters to Scarface and many more. His life was fictionalized in the movie Hooper starring Burt Reynolds (another movie for which he did stunts).
Don't get me wrong - thanks for uploading the movie. Saw it on VHS a long time ago. But ... the director must have been a sleep ! Some of these bit actors act so poorly ...
That one high-and-mighty meat head for a detective (detective Malone), shooting his mouth off like some little big man toy soldier; really needs to cool his jets and can it. He speaks with jealous rage and can only get in the way of justice against the angry, vengeful and deadly vietnamese soldier man.
Does anyone know who made the music? mainly looking to figure out the ending credits. it sounds like tangerine dream but i cannot find if im correct or not...
according to the IMDB the music is by Martin Deller, Cameron Hawkins and Ben Min they are a Canadian band that goes by name of FM there are many videos both as a group and some really good ones worth looking up if searched separately by each member name hope this helps…
@@thepartypros Here's the album Black Noise by the group FM. ruclips.net/video/6piLbzT3fpQ/видео.html Go to about 31:12 in that album to hear a song that sounds a lot like the scene where Perry King's in his trailer getting his guns and ammo.
@@darylloth3237 Thank you so much for responding. Yes it sounds like the song at the end of the movie. I am doing some research on it to see if I can find anything more on it. If I find anything out I will post a message here. Again thank you!! -Mark
Yeah watched it when it first hit HBO....but why is the so called assassin only loading up his half assed revolver after he finds and follows the prey ?
Starts off good then quickly becomes CHEESE.... over long , badly shot and acted chase scenes. Terrible musik. Screenplay is a disaster. 1978 was better than this.......?
Ok, you found it. This is THE POS movie of ALL time. Stupid story, lousy acting, non-existent directing, etc., etc., etc. George Kennedy must have REALLY needed a paycheck.
The bad guy in this strangely resembles Bruce Lee, even though he may be VC and Bruce Chinese. More forehead and less hair on the bad guy....hmmmmm. Good chase at the end, but the American was really determined, younger, bigger, stronger, he had to search and destroy.(ls)

LoL... Me too. I remembered it, but not the name or the actors so I had no way to find it.
Back in the HBO days when it wasn't even 24 hours/day.... LoL.
I did not find out about this movie , until a few days ago. I missed a lot of good movies over the years.
classic film, I have the VHS of this , HBO showed this in the early 80s. memories relived.
Me too saw it on HBO

'' I'm a Cop and I don't know anything at all ! '' Funny, but that's the most honest thing that I've heard from a Cop , even a TV-Movie Cop ! hahaha
And "I'm a cop-I don't want a big case" cracked me up
@@daisywomack7587 ; Unless it's a Big Case of Fresh Donuts and a Gallon of Fresh Brewed Coffee ! LOL
I remember now why I usually do not read the comments. Stupidity irritates me.
I remember this back when HBO wasn't even a 24 hour/ day channel.
Never heard of this one! just come upon it on here! Very good movie!
Only watching b/c of Grand Master Jong Soo Park!
Guy comes out of the alley into a crowd with a gun!!!! The crowd. WOW COOL!!! Keep walking!!!!
we all hung around when they were making this flick. a real 2nd rate job lol. fun too watch it though. it was a great time in my life
My childhood movies during the HBO days.
Using them cowboy guns never run out of bullets.
Music at 4:40 is badass 🎵🎸
i watch this movie during my childhood
hard to belive this movie is on here think you to whoever put it in here
Always hated it when Don goes bye-bye. I too loved this film during the early days of HBO.
don should have wrapped his head band around his wounded leg instead of trying to hold the blood back with his hand
Good film. Worth the watch.
Nice George Kennedy is ib this. Love me some Dragline
Nice Cool Hand Luke reference.
I like how the shootout is on the Canadian side and the cops are American.
It's an American production, they didn't hire Canadian police to play the part or actors to play Canadian police.
Good movie. They can't make these anymore.
Excellent quality print..
Sure is! What a refreshing departure from and quite superior compared to the vast majority of uploads I've been seeing on utube.
What a hoot I worked on this flick, such a long time ago.
By chance do you know who made the music for the soundtrack?
No Way!! this has been sooo hard to find.
Don't get me wrong - thanks for uploading the movie. Saw it on VHS a long time ago.
But ... the director must have been a sleep ! Some of these bit actors act so poorly ...
Thats why the old movies are so great and people love watching them even today. They are not perfect, and they should not be.
Good movie, great acting

This movie went south really fast! Lol Efin loud !
L.A.... also looks like Niagra falls Canada.....😭 low budget....I saw this on TV way......way back.....still hasn't changed......
It was all shot in Niagara Falls, ON. The night scene was Lundy Lane.
was it also filmed in Dolby surround sound..?
Damn good movie 👍🏻👍🏻

The head cops is lousy lol

Back in 1978?. I don't think so...

Probably a high quality re-master or was first made and preserved well since the time it was first published.
Hope he’s alive !
is there any chance you could add subs for me and would like to watch this and can't find links elsewhere with subs.thanks.
That guy burping was so gross!
