Kojic acid is magical! I've tried it personally and it is amazing, however, I noticed when I stopped using it for a month my hyperpigmentation returned and it resulted in my skin being dull and darker. Is this a sign that I need to stop using it overall? I love your accent omg! Definitely will be purchasing some of the goodies you named.
It depends on the lotion or the cream you use on your body that's why it returns I was having hyperpigmentation and I bought some everything went normal but once I get back to my lotion it's started so I change by using product with less fragrance and it's working well on my skin no hyperpigmentation

Try to use a moisturiser that contains natural brightening ingredients like vitamin C, niacinamide, alpha arbutin etc then the fullness should not return ❤️
Kojic acid is a Kojic acid prevents the production of tyrosinase which is the enzyme that helps your skin make Melanin... Unfortunately when you stop using it, the enzyme will start producing melanin again. The change is not immediate, but in 3 months after stopping to use it, the skin will revert to its original shade...so it doesn't matter what brand you use, Kojic acid works the same regardless of brand or product type

Try using non-comogenic products instead of Cerave acne control use Cerave salicylic Cleanser
