Try the eflite UMX voodoo/p51 (2 liveries same plane). You need your own radio, batteries, and charger. It flies much better than these little foamies, but isnt as resilient. Its about double the size, runs on a little 11.7 volt 400mah 3s. Unlimited verticle. Happy flying!

The extra motor and tail plane probably add too much weight, apart from stressing the battery. Also having both motors act out a force on a different axis, creating asymmetric torque, doesn't help
