I just want to say that I appreciate the bonnet/hood following the lines of the lights/kidney grills. It was the same on the E90 and subsequent models went for a straight cut bonnet/hood which looked like an ugly cost cutting measure. In fact I disliked it so much, it's the reason I now have a Golf R. With this though, I can definitely see myself in another 3 series. Looking good!
I am absolutely in love with this car. I think BMW has really done a good job in refining the interior as well as exterior design. Things look modern, elegant and sporty, just the way a BMW should look like! 👌🥰
I wouldn't think modern bmw last as long as classic bmw. My f10 always in shop while my e34 still show no sign of stopping. Heard many same stories as mine so we all are just better of with the Japanese brand.
I'm a 2014 428i owner. I have been waiting for the new 4 series to upgrade to 440i. When the controversial (read: hideous) design came up, I just couldn't order the car. The money was ready and I knew the car was great other than the outer design. But the design ruined everything. So I decided to go for 3 series. M340 looked cool (though, not a coupe cool). I realized the LCI was coming up and waited for it to put an order. Now with the new interior, I will just try to go with some other brand. I still love BMW engines and think they are the best among the other German brands (except Porsche). But the design department keeps messing up these beautiful machines.
People need to stop thinking or saying "design deparment". These are top high execs making the decisions. They get different options from design and they go for their choice which is usually bad but they force it as the top high execs usually have no style or sense of aesthetics/balance.

Once again, BMW shows that it lost its mojo. Neither the exterior nor the interior design is cohesive. The lower part of the front is grabbing more attention than the upper part and neither of those is well designed. It is ironic that current BMW have traded places with old style Mercedes models with a grille that is too big for the car and looks thrown on without considering the rest of the proportions of the car. The side profile has lost character and has become dull as de iX. The back bumper is way to voluminous and is a reflection of the shouting design language that BMW has adopted. No longer elegance, simplicity of line and inherit sportiness that defined BMW design for decades. The interior with the thrown on display looks messy and cheap instead of classy. That it talks a 12 minutes long boring video explaining what this car is about is testimony that the BMW 3-series does not explain itself anymore. BMW, please take a good look at the E30 and E39 models for the best BMW design that was part of the DNA of BMW and seek to make it current.
"The interior with the thrown on display looks messy and cheap instead of classy." 100% agree on that. Your presenter was excellent, by the way.
Gotta say this new interior is kind of crap, no buttons and that god awful screen. Guys the interior looked great before why do you have to try to fix what isn't broken and really screw it up?
44k € entry price in Germany? For a 3er??? lol. Audi has the A4 for 39k
Why fix something that is not broken? Damn that screen is ugly and will get outdated easily.
oh and please BMW can you promise that this engine wont blow up at 100000km just like the last 2 generations...maybe engineer them probably so they dont explode after 4years? thank you?)
Nice exterior 🏆 BMW back to an exciting beautiful look. A breath of excitement because BMW created a beautiful front grill and didn’t use ugly 4 series grill. Nice to see they listened and puts BMW back on many short lists for cars to buy 👍
RIP the only manufacturer resisting trends and sticking with physical buttons for climate that you can use while driving.
Please don’t put the big grill on this one
BMW alphabet goes like,
…E, F, G, F2.0
Nice. Makes me like my F80 even more!
Thanks a lot for the normal sized grill
Guys, is this the new 2022 or 2023 which should be coming soon 🙂
Also, anyone knows when the 3 will have the all new look & design?
2023
A beautiful car.
Guys Brooklyn is trash, make it a little lighter gray and call it Manhattan gray a much more marketable name
Manual transmission?
Give us a physical dial for the air speed and get rid of the appalling voice controls and utilise Google voice. Then, this will be perfect.
Good job BMW didn't put that stupid grill 😎
Drivers car and no manual transmission? Pljuc..
Hope you at least solved steering feel and veighness arround center...
One unhappy G20 owner..
There’s one ☝️
This costs 90K USD in India. Pathetic!
I wish they went back to the gauge cluster more and the out side looks outstanding but the interior, I’m not a fan but I hope they redesign the interior the screens to be separated and the physical buttons for the controls of the A/C
I LOVE THIS CAR. I want to get it for the interior upgrades alone. I'm dying for the X5 updates though. COME ON WITH IT! 😛
+AllenLaCour 🙌💙
2023 bmw 340i is my next car, i'm so love it.
Thanks for replacing the kidney back with the old look but interior needs an update, feels cheap
The screen does not fit and so big. Integration is the opposite word
Sad times about rhe.touchscren controls
I just want to say that I appreciate the bonnet/hood following the lines of the lights/kidney grills. It was the same on the E90 and subsequent models went for a straight cut bonnet/hood which looked like an ugly cost cutting measure. In fact I disliked it so much, it's the reason I now have a Golf R. With this though, I can definitely see myself in another 3 series. Looking good!
I am absolutely in love with this car. I think BMW has really done a good job in refining the interior as well as exterior design. Things look modern, elegant and sporty, just the way a BMW should look like! 👌🥰
Thank you for the kind words, my friend. We are truly grateful for your passion in what we do! 😎🙌
@@BMW My pleasure, my friend! Keep it up! 💪
better get your equipment together customers dont like to hear you can only get the stuff if you order the top modell bad customer politic
I wouldn't think modern bmw last as long as classic bmw. My f10 always in shop while my e34 still show no sign of stopping. Heard many same stories as mine so we all are just better of with the Japanese brand.
When it release in India??
If only these had the reliability, durability and build quality of a Lexus.
What are you getting instead?
@@sourpatchkid87 I know it’s a different category car but I might go with 718 boxster. Audi and merc don’t work for me and 911 is too expensive.
People need to stop thinking or saying "design deparment". These are top high execs making the decisions. They get different options from design and they go for their choice which is usually bad but they force it as the top high execs usually have no style or sense of aesthetics/balance.
@@aliutku99 that's pretty cool, what about the m240i? It's coupe and has all the fun of the m2, maybe worth looking into ? I have a 2013 335i m sport but ready to upgrade, I might just get the m340i but I feel you on the new bmws not checking all the boxes anymore
trust me watch this in 1.5x and save some really valuable time
Once again, BMW shows that it lost its mojo.
"The interior with the thrown on display looks messy and cheap instead of classy."
100% agree on that. I honestly hate the screens both in the merc and in this 3 series, but at least in the mercedes it isnt obvious that it is a cost saving measure.
(also, hilarious how they show the old 3 series in the vid )
I love bmw due to their rawness and bold look but this interior simply a very pathetically decision by bmw … there is no physical button is very sad .. we want car not spaceship .. pls only provide this type of futuristic interior only in electric i varient only
Pre Lci was better in design, and with less obvious cost cutting decisions. You guys know what i mean ;)
It looks so much better!! Now fix the M3 and M4 u haven't seen any in my town or country , but the previous gen was and is everywhere !! People don't like how it looks
Wow beautiful cars. Top design BMW
