Talking about AC unit power is great when power goes out during a hurricane or tropical or bad weather events. How will this work during a Cold weather event like Freezing Ice and Snow storm when using the Heating side of the system?
Hi Bobby, If you have a Heat Pump the unit will work the same way to start your compressor. A heatpump just has a reversing valve for the refrigerant flow but the actual compressor will start in the same fashion any typically draws a little more in heat mode due to the pressure but we will still softstart it the same way.
