In my family it was a tradition that my mom would buy my sister and I each an ornament for our stockings. When I moved out as an adult, my first Christmas on my own my mom told me to come over and get all of my ornaments. She said she bought them for us so that now we’re grown up we have ornaments for our own trees.
I’m doing this for my kiddos but I put them in their Dec 1st boxes.
Ok. I love that you actually help your husband fill your stocking! That’s actually really sweet of you I think, and brilliant! The thought never crossed my mind. Ty!!
Thank you 😊
I have always loved the stocking part of Christmas. Finding the little things that fit and they ask for. When I was a teenager I always went for my stocking first as I would get a piece of jewelry and that, makeup, perfume and favorite candy that wasn’t a shared thing (of course we traded & shared but it was bc we wanted to and learned that sharing is kind). Parents work so hard to make the holidays special it’s a lot of work and we do it for the joy & excitement of watching our kids light up! Great video
Thank you so much! I love the stockings too. 😊
❤ love this! I think its lovely that you let your eldest girl experiment with makeup if its something she enjoys then why not at her age i was into eyeliner and mascara ❤ also great idea with the scratch offs might get one for my son! Hope your well take care xxxxx
Thank you so much! 😊
After watching you & several other utubers, I realized that I definitely go overboard on stockings LoL 😂 I put what I can fit into the stockings then I have big buckets for my kids for the rest of it. My parents started a tradition when we were young, we couldn't open our stockings until after Christmas dinner. It spread the Christmas joy thru the day. I loved it & I've done this with my kids too. They're both adults now, but we still do this ❤ Merry Christmas Rachel & family!
I found it very helpful to keep each person's stocking stuffers in their own gallon zip lock bag. That way I could see how much I had per person and the gallon bag will fill up a standard stocking so I didn't go overboard
I love that! Thank you for sharing. 😊
Brilliant ideas Rachel, thank you for sharing!
Thank you 😊
I love how you are able to simplify by being organized as you go. Do you have Easter Basket ideas? Just came across your page and love all your ideas.
love it!!! thank you for sharing. be safe.
Thank you 😊
Yay stocking stuffers! I always appreciate your tips and tricks. I bought those Mighty Patch things for my teenage daughter for the first time to put in her stocking. Glad to hear those are good. For whatever reason my 11 year old daughter is into skincare, and I was a bit stumped as to what facial cleanser I should get for her, so I will look out for the E.l.f. cleanser. Thanks for sharing Rachel:)
CeraVe is my favorite face cleaner. It’s great for all skin types. The Elf is a makeup remover but they also have face cleanser. The mighty patches are so good; I have my own stash. 😊
@@RachPlusFive Thank you so much for letting me know! I will get the CeraVe instead. The only thing I've heard her talk about is Drunk Elephant, but I saw the price...😳
I was waiting for your video lol
It’s been chaos but I’ve got lots coming 😊
Thank you!!!
Thank you for watching!
Great ideas Rach .Merry Christmas 🎄
Thank you, Merry Christmas! 🎄
Great video. Happy holidays.
Thank you! Happy Holidays
You’re like a professional lol ❤️
You and I do the same thing - a bag per kid - I've been doing that for years - makes it soo much easier! :)
It’s a huge help. 😊
Santa always brings my husband and I scratchers. He provides a variety of scratchers that we wouldn’t normally purchase throughout the year. We always have fun with it. Great video!
Thank you!
Awesome stocking ideas!!
Thank you 😊
wow
Hi Rach! I love stocking stuffers.. I think you do an awesome job! Being a single mom, I always had to get my own stocking stuffers so my daughter didn't think Santa forgot about me 😂 Now shes older & I still grab stuff I want & let her fill my stocking 😊 Holiday scratch offs are a tradition with us also 😊❤
Thank you! I love that she helps with your stocking. 😊
Great haul love it ❤ also I love your nails so,pretty next time I’m I’m going to do that with my nails
Thank you 😊
Curious to know how all of this stuff fits into their stocking...would love to see how you arrange it
Tetris 😊
It usually takes some playing around but I always make it fit.
❤❤
❤️
Merry Christmas Rach and family. Love the stuffers you got. ??? What is the Troll thing that you have for your youngest daughter??? I have a Troll lover. 👍🎄🎋🎁🎀🎅🤶🥰
Thank you. Merry Christmas! It’s just a Troll blind bag I found in Walmart.
My youngest insists there is chocolate coal in her stocking every year. lol She is also obsessed with Stitch.
Please note! Delectables lickables are made by Hartz brand (its on the back of the package in small letters. Hartz is dangerous. There are now 2 other brands of the lickable tubes.. i buy INABA Churu. I think they are $4 instead of $3. My kitty loves them the same.. they even have chunks of tuna at times..lol.. i think Purina also makes a lickable.... just in case you didnt know about Hartz.. theres lots of info about the bad brand.. im not picky but i try to stay away from them . Merry Christmas... our dog and cat share a stocking.
Thank you for letting me know. I’ll have to check their package and find alternatives. 😊
hey
where there from
hi
Do you not wrap your stocking stuffers? I need to know!
Nope. I’ve never wrapped anything for in the stockings.
I wrap every single stocking stuffer. My mom did too. The stockings take me the longest to wrap 😂
My parents never wrap any of the stuff in my and my siblings stocking at all
hello
njce
there cheap there on offer
My youngest grandchild is 7 he is dairyfree and soya free, sadly he wanted some chocolate coins BUT we can no longer get them in dairyfree and soya free😢😒
I’m sorry. I’m 15 year old had a huge obsession with chocolate coins.
I’ve been doing that for about 25 yrs & it does make things easier!! I just don’t think a 12 yr old girl should be wearing makeup especially not eyeliner & all that! I also don’t think kids should be given scratch offs because those are gambling which I personally would never promote in a kid!!!
Blind bags are basically gambling. It’s a scratch off. I don’t have a gambling problem and I’ve had them since I was a kid. The makeup is for learning. She is still trying to get the hang of it and there are hundreds of 12 year olds all over the internet doing full face makeup and skincare (which is crazy) so I’m ok with her experimenting. 😊
I think a scratch off at any age is really about the excitement of scratching and wondering. Obviously if there is an issue just as with anything it should be avoided but I see this as harmless 1 time a year treat.
You had some great ideas there! ❤
Girls start wearing make when they 11, so a 12 year old that is about to be a teenager is totally fine.
But I don’t agree with the scratch offs, and actually it’s promoting bad habits and your not allowed to buy scratch when your a kid.
