- Same as my other video( • Every Klonoa Title Scr... ) except for the Klonoa Heroes Title Screen seemed like the odd one out.
The description just in case:
Klonoa is already an obscure enough gaming franchise, but it shocks me that most intros of the games uploaded on RUclips are merely stills. and not the full visuals, so I have decided to remedy this.
In addition to that, I'll also be doing a video with only the "Wahoo" title screens.

@@RayDrexiel , the only thing i know is Klonoa'a voice, maybe it would be fixed if you sent the voice to Japanese or The Other language that is not english?
@@Travis-ea4205 haha I see, I was only referring to his voice btw, I doubt they could ruin the gameplay enough to make it lose its charm. But from what I searched you can't change it to the Japanese voices unless you play the Japanese version so that sucks. I also searched some gameplay of the American version and the voice made me cringe so hard. It sounds like something out of Mario

Kumiko Watanabe just gets more tired every time she has to record this phrase.
Not to be super corrrective of you but I think that might also have to do with how they tried to age Klonoa up and make him a bit more edgy, too. You can see that especially with Klonoa Empire of Dreams where despite being on the same platform as game #1, Klonoa looks and sounds more mature

Klonoa DTP: cute, happy and on tone, just perfection
Klonoa MM: the same one from DTP but crunchyer, still good for a game boy like console
Klonoa ED: feels older than the first one, lost a bit of the energy but is still cute
Klonoa LV: sounds like ED (i sincerely do not see much difference) but klonoa sounds like he's mad or something
Klonoa DCT: he still sounds less energetic than before
klonoa BV: the crowd kinda ruins it imo
klonoa Wii remake: burn it on a stake

You can toggle it in settings to bring the PS1 voice back
I like how because the Wii remake pruned out the "Door to Phantomile" subtitle they had to slap on an underline instead
Klonoa 2 actually has two secret intro cutscenes. They can be viewed by holding L1 and R1 for the Popka version or L2 and R2 for the Lolo version before Klonoa says Wahoo.
How did I not know about this sooner?! I own that game and played it all the time as a kid
they made something similiar to "star medal densetsu"

instead of title sceen was in the "klonoa works" logo, if you hold L or R you get other characters screaming "wahooo" instead of klonoa.

I heard rumors of this game making a comeback that would be pretty cool ngl I remember finding this game for hella cheap in the bargain bin at Walmart picked it up and was amazed at how neglected it was as it's a great game i mean it's no masterpiece like other games out there but it's fun and unique in its own way
they did indeed announce a remake collection of the 2 main games for its 25th anniversary this summer. so you heard right. and fingers crossed people actually buy it so they see theres interest and they make a new game

Sold on this game from the first seconds of it.
I'm so excited Klonoa is being re released in 2022 on the Nintendo switch. This was one of my favorite games in the 2010s as a kid, and I hope more people can enjoy this quiet masterpiece.

Actually, in 'Klonoa Beach Volleyball', if you press certain PlayStation buttons during the opening title screen, only one of the characters will say "Wa-hoo".

@@radhikarim4251 i saw on play-asia website is 42.99 USD for physical Japan version a.k.a Kaze no Klonoa - 1 and 2 Encore
But I saw Bandai Namco Games website, there are deluxe edition for console only (Steam version don't included). So I guess it will be 55 to 60 USD if included with all soundtrack or costume swap (maybe)

+KnightofFunnyJunk That's because it's the English version of the remake.
In the Wii remake, you have the option to set the language to English, in which every character will have a proper voice actor to voice their lines during cutscenes. Klonoa's English voice actor in the game doesn't really do the "WAHOO!" as good, but you can change it back to the original language from the first game in the settings.

Klonoa sounds like Sonic in the 2008 remake and in every game other than the first looks like a Sonic character for some reason.
Same character designer, same with Blinx the Time Sweeper, another forgotten hidden gem from the OG Xbox. DtP Klonoa and Blinx have the same style eyes, while LV Klonoa has similar eyes to Sonic characters.
Edit: I was wrong! Only Naoto Oshima did both Sonic and Blinx, Klonoa was designed by Yoshihiko Arawi alone, I could have sworn he did work on some Sonic games as well... Perhaps Sonic was a big inspiration to his design.

The Wii remake added english voice acting because they assumed it'd make the game sell more. Luckily in the settings you could change the voice acting back to the Phantomile language but it's sad that english dub was default
