I just wanna thank you Adam, for getting me back into baseball! I’m a Florida native, and played baseball from Little League through High School, but haven’t kept up with the game in several years. I haven’t missed a Ray’s game in a month now!
As a Phillies fan I get jealous about how incredible the Rays management team is in brilliantly drafting and scouting players. Their international team is the best and they somehow have figured out how to draft quality players AND make them better in their farm system.

I lived in St Pete for a couple years and went to Tropicana Field many times, can't believe it's still alive. My best memory was seeing Jose Canseco hit the catwalk with a ball....it was like a rocket !
I've been following you for a while now. Been watching daily since you made it to Vegas. I'm part of a hobby broadcast group on Facebook. It was so cool to see one in action in Good Springs, NV. I wish I could say I've been a Part 15 broadcaster, but that would not be true. The max power I've used was around 50 watts. I got the attention of the radio engineers in this area. I don't do that anymore. I do run two internet radio stations. Can't get radio out of my blood. Been doing it for about 40 years. I'm retired now. Glad you made it home safely. My cousin lived in St Petersburg for many years. She now lives in Nashville. Be safe.

Good to see back at the Trop, AND your meeting place Is 15 minutes from my home. I remember going to Circus World as a 10 year old. Loved the place, but the lack of thrill rides doomed it. The Trop is showing its age. When I lived in Miami the Loan Depot Park has the retractable roof. If the Weather cast says it will re\ain they will close the roof before the game!
That was a great game and spent with friends, the best. You should make baseball games your food cheat days as stadium food is a part of the experience.
Mention of Boardwalk and Baseball takes me back to my first visit to Florida from England in 1988, my sister and dad going on the old school wooden roller coaster in the driving rain🤣
Looks like a blast! So glad they have a dome for the heat! I was at the San Jose Giants game last night, minor league, pretty warm but as you know it’s drier out here, not humid like in Fl. There was a guy in the stands wearing a Montgomery (?) Biscuits tshirt and i remembered a vlog you did there! By the way my chorus was at this game to sing the national anthem, so much fun!
I also attended that Rays Orioles game but when I arrived at the start of the bottom of the first they didn’t have the bobble head. I was looking forward too getting one. Maybe next time. Thanks for sharing your wild night.

Glad to see you back home for a while Adam. Rays are a well run organization who get the most out of their limited payroll. However that stadium is not good. Like playing in a big warehouse. It’s the only non-retractable dome in MLB I believe. Will be interesting to see what they do there because sooner or later they need to move to a decent stadium.
I guess over 78 million is a limited payroll, and Tampa has been playing some good ball. I’m still over here watching my last place A’s, with their 32 million a year payroll beat Huston. You’re welcome AL West.

They totally need to update this ballpark or make something new, like fixing the dome. I hear a lot of baseball fans say that Rays stadium is super need of an update or something new.
they are in the process of building a new ball park for the Rays. It will most likely be somewhere in Ybor city in Tampa. I think the lease on the Trop is up in like 5 years. The owners wanted to move the team to Montreal but MLB rejected that plan. So they will be staying in Tampa.

Thank goodness the SF Giants never moved to that place! It was pretty scary there for a while though but thankfully Peter Magowan bought the Giants in 1993, kept the team in SF, and got Pac Bell Park built. The rest is history. If Peter Magowan did not buy the Giants and they moved to that place, who knows what would have happened. Bruce Bochy might have never arrived and three World Series championships might have never happened. Thankfully, the Giants have always been far, far away from Tropicana Field and I couldn't be happier about that.
