Beautiful mini aquarium! You're so talented. It does seem a bit small for Frogging. This might be a good decent size for cherry shrimp like a Walstad planted aquarium! 🦐
Yes it was for the content but i was also pet sitting. I didn't have room for my friend's tank so i offered to make a mini one. Made more content and was allowed to keep the supplies i needed, and she got to go on vacation and got her frog back happy and alive. Win Win
My African frog is in a 23 ltr tank heavily planted with communal fish & snails he gets live red worm & live baby shrimp daphnia & a few more & dried food now & then some people would say it’s over stocked based on old no science guide lines sounds familiar but won’t go there, all my little people are happy healthy no diseases & are having babies 🥰I take them to the local aquarium shop so they can re home them no money involved for me, I have 4 tanks but no room for more.. I have a 1 & half litre jar planted with 2 of my fry in one guppy with a funny tail & a tuxedo molly 12 weeks old I’m keeping them Love the little bowl there’s something about bowls there my favourite a few shrimp would be happy in there afterwards 55yr fish keeper love them ❤
@@Saxonwomen sounds like you have some really nice setups for your little buddies and I'm happy to hear that they are all happy and thriving😃 I have read many articles and tried to do my homework to see what size habits are best for my pets but what I've been able to tell is everyone seems to have their own preferences. Ive gotten many comments saying this is too small for him and as far as long term I agree but I'm happy to say it was only temporary. And you are absolutely right I've since repurposed the bowl and have added two bright red cherry shrimps. It's fun watching them swim around and since the bowl is magnified in some areas I get to see them more clearly when they swim in front of it.
And also that frog would have survived in that little bowl but he wouldn’t have been to happy I’m suspecting we all like more space don’t we 😊 the only thing would be the bio load until plants where established then the substrate & plants would do the filtering, a dead leaf from the bottom of a pond would speed that process up with the natural organisms &. Bacteria yes bacteria is needed from natural pounds with living fish & trillions of organisms, it’s all good 😊 👍 The bonus is it doesn’t cost any money Aqua soil or clean garden soil 2-3 inches then cap it with sand I use river sand a little bit bigger graduals then plants lots of plants let it sit for a day no light for first day has to not shock the plants anymore natural light is ok then second day lights on for 4-5 hours after a few weeks leave them on for 6-8 hrs adjust to suit Algae is PH dependent & can grow in a newish tank to deal with that no lights & cover the tank with a blanket to black it out for 24hrs then lights 4-5 hrs then another black out algae should die off it’s common sense really if you know how plants use light to grow… I think your doing fine & learning more every day, which is more then I can say about people screaming animal abuse who really haven’t a clue.. I’m blatantly truthful & for some reason people do not like that 🤔 I’d rather have the truth then down right propaganda & unscientific bull crap
I am sorry, but no. Temporary or not, you are giving people the idea that this is OK and adequate and it isn’t. Even as a temporary home it isn’t. The video didn’t need to be made.
You really know how to pack a bowl!!😅

Aqua soil or clean garden soil 2-3 inches then cap it with sand I use river sand a little bit bigger graduals then plants lots of plants let it sit for a day no light for first day has to not shock the plants anymore natural light is ok then second day lights on for 4-5 hours after a few weeks leave them on for 6-8 hrs adjust to suit
Algae is PH dependent & can grow in a newish tank to deal with that no lights & cover the tank with a blanket to black it out for 24hrs then lights 4-5 hrs then another black out algae should die off

Beautiful
Just a heads up, they will jump out of anything without a lid and they can only live 20 minutes out of water.
Don't worry the water isn't filled to the rim and it has a deep curve at the top that he cant climb or reach onto even he wanted to 🙂
No, they wont jump out without a lid. They are water frogs. Not amphibious land frogs.
No
....he's stuck cause he doesn't have room to swim

wtf you using the wrong glue . SMFH
This is absolutely not an appropriate size aquarium for adds. This is animal abuse.
I was frog sitting for a friend and i needed a new video for my channel, it was only temporary i believe i state that in my video description
@@reptileandmore8013 I'm sorry, I didn't realize that.
@@LadyNewgrdia it's ok no harm done here 👍
Bro you’re abusing the frog. Don’t trip on this weirdo
