When the first iPhone was released half of the phones were touchscreen and its UI was literally a copy of the blackberry ui
Thanks for your comment! When the first iPhone was released in 2007, it was indeed one of the pioneers in popularizing touchscreen smartphones with a unique user interface. While it’s true that some earlier phones had touchscreens, the iPhone’s interface was notably different and innovative in its use of a capacitive touchscreen and multitouch gestures. The BlackBerry UI was well-regarded for its physical keyboard and different design approach. Both devices contributed significantly to the evolution of mobile technology. Appreciate your input!
@@braincandyshow Man one thing is the ui and one thing is the keyboard.
Capcitive touchscreens were already a thing before the iphone, the reason why the most of older phones had a resistive touchscreen is that the capacitive one didn't exist.
But as I said, it was a thing on phones before the release of the iphone.
Same thing goes with ui as i said since it was literally the same ui of a blackberry.
Other things like the apps and the app store already existed before the relase of the first iphone (that btw didn't even support apps).
The only thing that iphone did is selling more than others, but it didn't really do anything new (just like it doesn't anything new today, since it mostly copies android features)
15 pro came out late 2023
