I got a paperweight today at goodwill. 1.99, shaped like a pear, marked on bottom, controlled bubbles, super cute. 🤗

I have an Orient and Flume glass vase I bought from them in the 70’s. It’s stunning! Also visited their showroom in Chico CAa year ago. Such gorgeous glass pieces.

Wow! They have some awesome paperweights! My favorites are the green design one, faceted one. But the best 2 are the one at the 6:12 mark😍🤑, and the spider paperweight.

That was amazing-so many fantastic paperweights. I did like the pure clear glass Eicholdt, but I do feel that I learn from you making your choices. I would have bought that one for me, even though I am not that excited for clear glass. It was just so exquisite and delicate. I would be looking at it in amazement every day.
There was a fabulous purple glass (pressed?) bowl (9:55-10:05) next to some of the paperweights you chose, and I was just DYING-SO fabulous. I would have bought that no question, no matter the price. Exactly my color and taste. ❤❤❤
I'm just going to have to start looking in my neck of the woods for a few treasures. I've been avoiding thrift stores while I downsize and declutter but i can feel the shopping dreams approach me. I can't avoid it too much longer, I fear.

Her name and celebrity status on youtube, whatnot and niknax sells them at those high prices. Normal, everyday sellers do not get the sold prices she will get. Buyers just want to own something she touched and will pay up. Just facts, not being mean. Beautiful paperweights she scored. I will be watching the sale to see what they sell for. It should be crazy $$$!

She wouldn't buy them if she couldn't make a profit. Some she will break even but some will go way over what she paid. So it all works out.
Some of those will go for 300-400+

You need to go to garage sales!! The other sellers on You tube really get great deals going to garage sales and estate sales!
She doesn't need to go to garage sales for good deals. Also she doesn't like filming at peoples houses. Where she lives in PA they don't have estate sales which she has mentioned many times.

I love the goodwill videos! They're my favorite! She's always going to find great pieces at an antique mall but at a goodwill you're not guarenteed to find anything worth much, so it's the hunt that makes it more interesting to me.

I occasionally like a treasure hunt at good will but I like the focus that an antique mall has.
I watch the good will ones at 2x speed and if she finds a treasure I can watch at real time. I prefer to watch with antique malls because it has already been curated.

If the prices were to high for resell she wouldn't buy them which is why she didn't buy all of them🤷♀️
You obviously don't watch her auctions and see how much her paperweights sell for.

She has said she’s happy to just make a few bucks off them, she prices them for what she paid plus 25% for fees & shipping and Anything over that is profit. So she may make $25 or make $125 depending on how rare and bidding wars that happen. She has a few serious collector clients and they know their stuff so they will bid high for it. Many of these collectors can’t get access to antique store for various reasons so they shop online and she’s like the curator for them.
@@leeleescraps that's why she cost averages. Don't forget she got a discount for paying in cash,which is something she hardly ever does. The dealer also gave her a discount bundle because she bought so many. So a $125 paperweight was much less then that.
