Is ywam expensive? How much does it cost to go there. I’m poor so everything is expensive for me. Would love to go to a place like ywam though. I hear they have good fellowship.

Sam w it can be expensive! Mine cost about a total of 10,000 but I used like a hundred dollars of my own. The church and friends and family pulled together and god worked through total strangers! If you want to do it, I say go for it and watch god work!

I have heard that some tracks in YWAM are vehemently anti-Catholic and even go as far as to evangelize to Catholics... anyone know anything about this? Seems terribly ignorant to me. Besides that, I like what I've heard, but I don't want to do it if I'm going to hear catholic hate or be asked to evangelize to Catholics.

It's a six month program where you do three months of discipleship training, in almost anywhere in the world, and then three months of outreach helping those in need.

YWAM is a Christian organization that teaches a variety of things most notably DTS (Discipleship Training School) which is a 3 month classroom training and a 2-3 month out of class training where you travel to a foreign place and help establish God's kingdom!
