I REBUILT ADAM LZ'S WRECKED PORSCHE GT3... NOW WHAT?

- After buying and rebuilding Adam LZ's Porsche 911 GT3 i now have to decide what ill do with it. As the Porsche is over 4000 miles away from home i need to work out whether i pay import & delivery fees to get it back to the UK or weigh up the other options.

2.But by selling it to Freddy for a far lesser price tag of what he brought it for wrecked. Freddy will have to pay far less Taxes when he will be shipping it back to UK.
3. It’s a smart move on their part to save up quite a lot of money and to grow their YT channels by showcasing such a unique give he will be giving away to his friend.
Not mad just want them to be more clear on why they did that. I don’t know if this a legal move since they will be evading tens or thousand of dollars by doing so.

@@lgtv8526 Oh dear... So wrong on so many levels. 1. Freddy's plan is to tour with the car, UK, Europe. It will remain on a US plate, so it will not be imported and will return back to US after the tour (you can do this for up to 6 months stay). Therefore there is no import, no taxes, no duties 2. If this was their plan it would've been a very dumb plan, since customs assess value based on book rate / retail / valuation. I've been importing & exporting for over 20 years and customs NEVER use invoice value (simply because anyone can knock up a sales invoice!)

What a fantastic conclusion to this epic rebuild - you could have sold the car for a heap of money but instead you've given Freddy the opportunity to enjoy the car without paying the retail price. Mat's father deserves a an acknowledgement of 50k US Dollars this time as well. He is so important to all the projects and sometimes, in certain moments, almost pivotal to help to push through.
And there has been a deal before, i think it looks like - Mat never was fully free to sell the car @market price in the US and keep the money for himself. Mat worked and got payed all his expences for but his profit needs now to come out of RUclips. That's the deal. His channel got leverage - and potential more viewers on both sides of the Atlantic too. I hope this pays out. (Otherwise the UK worked to fuel the US.)

I don't consider myself an out and out petrol head but I have really enjoyed this rebuild. You cover the problems and issues you have, rather than trying to teach people how to rebuild it themselves, which I find quite refreshing. Onward and Upward Mat .
What an amazing ending and gesture to Freddie ! Matt could easily come out with nearly 100k profit in this car but chooses to pass this onto Freddie! Not everything in life is about money ! Kudos to Matt!
I doubt he could get 100k profit. He paid 130k in pounds. You have to understand people that buy high end Porsches like these are not buying rebuilt

Yes, he has definitely made a lot from the videos but to but it for 130k he would need to sell it for 230k to make 100 grand. I’m saying if I’m buying a GT3 for 230k it won’t be crashed and anyone who has that money will be happy to spend 30-50k more for a brand new one

There could not have been a better ending to one of the best car rebuilds EVER. But there is something even better...we have watched the beginning of one of the greatest emerging friendships. Well done guys and greetings from the UK.
This was always my dream, not only to work with cars, but also own a Porsche one day. I felt in love with 911’s since I was a boy. I never had enough courage to do what you did. It’s nice to see how it looks in real life. Congratulations Mat, you live “our” dreams, mega happy for you. You did well, you inspire others and you should be proud of yourself.
A bitter-sweet moment to decide to part with it but a) the other options were non starters and b) You got the opportunity for a hassle free sale and lost nothing on it c) Freddie gets to own one of the all time great Porsches which, while pranged, has a clean title plus video evidence for how nicely the repairs were done (plus a checklist of what to do to convert the 8/10 from Porsche to a 10/10) - at far below value (which is set to go only one way!! And that's always nice even if he does keep it forever)
Most of all though, it seals the bond - not really so much for the business exchange, although I feel we will see much future crossover between the two of you - the dynamic is so good I find myself with "something in my eye again"😅 - but just he's such a nice guy and as you rightly said, was not merely a great host, not even a fantastic host - but a consummate host. Nothing was too much trouble and seemed charming and effortless to be around.
You deserve all the good things that happen to you, that's for sure. Can't wait to find out the next project!😀🥰

Honestly, thanks dude. My health has been plummeting, and I've been climbing mountains the last 7 years to combat it. I can't even jog anymore, and it is driving me nuts. I bought a 2011 Legacy 2.5GT turbo manual, and have been having fun when I can while paddleboarding and enjoying wildlife. Your videos... I think the algorithm suggested them, but dude. Thank you. You are keeping me sane watching you go after your goals and inspiring others. What a great end to this series. Porche and Lambos have always been my dream rides, and I love the ability to understand and work on my on rides, so seriously thank you. You are helping my mood and keeping me smiling through all this pain. This was wonderful and am so stoked to see more! Love!
Seriously... I am sitting in some woods, under a sun umbrella, next to a Lambo dealership, and a Porche Dealership - also Ferrari and other crazy ones. I drive past them every day while going from my hotel, to my drs, and back, and there is a green Lambo...... so pretty!!! Well, I sit here with my camp gear, basically at those dealerships, and watch you rebuild their cars while I am battling health complications. This is what I am choosing to do, as my psychologists are talking about me making end of life plans lol!!! Seriously, hard work does beat talent, and I am proof as well. Big love!!!!!!!
I'm tempted to go into the Lambo dealership and ask about that green one before my health gets too bad, yet idk.... I don't want to be strange.
