YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I like that fella‘s scarf and the whole concept of bronze and white :D
Yeah... Giving that the last serie was terrible and that most didn't complain about the change but about the casting choice (seriously Jodie CAN'T play the doctor, she is unable to make herself look intimidating which is a unforgivable flaw for anyone who want to play the doctor.) I loved the rest of the video but got annoyed by the last line... I don't know if I should like the video or just ignore it.
@@poppywhittington9928 When you make a joke at someone else expense it's not funny. Also I understand the joke, I'm just unable the find it funny considering what the season they gave us was and I just find it a little tasteless. I'm not angry or anything, it's just that it spoils the end of the video for me so I'm not sure if I want to like it or forget it and move on. That's all. By the way this joke would have been funny if this video had been released before the last season was out, because at the time it was legit, but now with what we got it's not, because the reason for not liking the new doctor evolved and became complex. I get it that the script for this video was maybe made when the joke was relevant, but it's not anymore.
Keerya Have you watched any old series Doc Who? Being intimidating is a pretty new characteristic born of the time war plotline. Classic who which the new stuff seems to be harkening back to pretty much featured a Doctor who bumbled into random situations and spent and a serial trying to figure out what the hell was going on. The only “intimidating” one was three and that was mostly because he knew alien karate and beat people up but he was hardly a threatening presence. The series survived thirty years with a doctor that couldn’t fix you with a state and make you realize how scary he was. It’ll survive one doctor who goes around having fun instead of scaring the crap out of the bad guys. Also there’s a major difference between not liking the show because the doctor is now a woman and not liking the show because you don’t like this incarnation of the doctor. The fact that you can’t separate those two out makes it seem very much like you are in the former camp and realizing how tasteless that is are desperately trying to find something with which to justify it so you can claim to be in the latter rational category.
@@quinnsinclair7028 Yeah character change, the doctor was changed by the time war, you can't make your character revert. If you want your doctor to stop being intimidating you need to make an entire episode or plotline dedicated to the doctor changing, you can't just change it out of the blue or it enter the category of bad writting. Heck if you are lazy you can just make the new doctor being intimidating for a seconds before her saying something like "nah serious face is not my thing." and then move on, it would be acceptable. I can separate the two, what are you talking about ? I'm accusing this video of not separating the two ._. ! I was one of the first one to go to the people saying it was sjw and stuff to tell them to calm down and to give it a chance when she was first announced.
This was funny, I'll give you that, but I found series 11 to be a good one and I simply don't understand why everyone seems to hate it. Series 11 had some flaws, the absence of an overarching plot is an example, but they don't make it bad; the characters are solid, Whitaker is brilliant as the Doctor, and the episodes - while they tend take a more emotional angle rather than a more action based one - are interesting. I don't think series 11 is perfect, I prefer series 10 myself, but it's hardly as awful as a lot of people say it is. And also, that Finale was absolutely amazing, worth waiting until New Year's day, definitely
I totally agree! I’m really enjoying this series, and while it’s a lot different than other series, that doesn’t matter. If I want to see something that looks like the old series, I’ll go back and watch reruns of the old series. That part about the silver versus bronze Dalek at the end made this even that much better for me!
@@samuellawrencesbookclub8250 in my opinion (and a lot of others) i have found the series to be awful. whitaker is a terrible doctor because she doesn't understand the character. the doctor is someone who is both childish and serious. she handles the childish very well but when it comes to the serious intimidating side she falls totally flat. the doctor is "the oncoming storm". where does Jodie portray that? she doesn't. shes incapable of that. i thought she could handle it after the first episode because every doctor after they regenerate is confused as to who they are but after a few episodes that's all she seemed to be. confused. in my opinion shes way in over her head. awful doctor. the episodes are terrible as well, the writing is the worst its ever been, full of messages that arnt even subliminal (social messages in DR who are fine so long as they are subtle, this series shoves it right in your face). the writer (who said and i quote "you have to write about what you know and whats happening in our society") clearly doesn't understand the show, ITS A FUCKING SYFY SHOW, DONT WRITE ABOUT MODERN DAY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!! we watch DR WHO to relax and get away from reality for an hour, we don't need this shit. to summarise, yes it is as awful as people say it is. the show has lost its way, its alienated the fans and i will never understand how people who call themselves "fans" can defend this. the show has died.
@@smidget5843 Your criticism is valid, I am beginning to understand some of the hate, although my opinion is unchanged. Personally, it has been my impression that much of Whitaker's Doctor's good nature is a facade and her trying to live up to Capaldi's last words 'be kind'. Her Doctor, in character, reminds me quite a bit of Smith's, the darker side being well hidden. Additionally, the claim that social messages about modern life don't belong in science-fiction is simply untrue; in most science-fiction shows and films this has been prevalent. An example of this can be seen in Star Trek: The Original Series, with the sheer number of overtly anti-drug episodes it had - 'The Naked Time;, 'This Side of Paradise', and 'The Way to Eden' are just a few - in the 1960s the use of illegal drugs was major social problem within America - in other words it was a modern problem being written about in Science Fiction. Admittedly, series 11 is far more overt with it's social messages, although - considering the primary audience of the show are children and young teens - this makes a lot of sense. Also, it isn't as if the messages conveyed by series 11 are at all dangerous; mostly they consist of common-sense things like promoting acceptance of peoples, of all nations, of all creeds and informing upon the illogical nature of discrimination. I have always considered myself a fan of Doctor Who, I've watched every New Who episode multiple times, and done the same for as many episodes of Classic Who as I can get my hands on. The fact that I take great enjoyment out of this franchise shows that I am a fan, and my continued enjoyment of into series 11 doesn't suddenly stop me from be a fan. Now, it is no concern of mine if you dislike it - my interest in your motives is purely academic - but your suggestion, through the inverted-commas your put around '"fans"', that those who like series 11 are not true Doctor Who fans is unwarranted. People can still be considered fans even if their preferences do not line up with your, for example the majority of Doctor Who fans who I've encountered consider the second half of series 7 - the part after the departure of Amy and Rory - to be an utter shambles, but - if for whatever reason - someone liked the second half of series 7 it doesn't instantly mean that they are no longer a Doctor Who fan. Now, both in my original comment and the one that I've just made, I have explained my reasons for liking series 11 and why your issues with it don't phase. I hope that I have broadened your understanding, as you have mine.
@@smidget5843 I'll defend it and proud to do so. But, you are right all the same. The final two episodes where well up to snuff though which was a delight - even though the 'music' composition was still pathetically awful, the sounds it made were fun. I have given a detailed critique elsewhere ...

Dalek who is amazing and here are my personal thoughts about each and every generation of the Dalek 1: So wise yet so dense because the writing was sort of all over the place, although one episode really tugged my heart strings, so inspirational, and so poetic for a Dalek who was 66 2: It almost was the same as the first, and some Daleks made rumors that the actor for the first Dalek and the second were brothers but they're wrong, but it was so amazing for the Dalek who series to go offf, especially when it came to the regeneration, so beautiful and so nice, but with color was even more beautiful, loved it 3: Too lazy, but the Dalek himself was so original and so amazing to watch, heck who cares about the writing whenever he is on the TV, people scream with joy, I laughd and I cried when he was on TV, he made Dalek who not be so dumb, so beautiful 4: So funny, so clever, and so cool when he wears that scarf, my gosh the first episode when he was on was a bit wonky, but it really made it amazing 5: So cool, he made it possible for Dalek who to really be a good TV show, he gave all that he got with the acting, and he does amazing when it comes to cricket and baseball, doing two sports at once, so amazing 6: He used to wear a strange hat, but other than that amazing, seriously all the episodes except for at least 16 episodes were all amazing, heck people used to watch them twice and they keep watching 7: The writing was super lazy, but it was really funny when he tried to open the umbrella when he was falling into the well, so very funny and mischievous, he doesn't talk much, but he us a wonder Dalek 8: Man that Dalek was the key to it all, even though the show was ending due to the movie costing WAY too much money, and it looked absolutely amazing and very cleverly displayed, the TV show itself was amazing too, 8th Dalek put his heart and soul into the role, although he used to do a few roles before Dalek who, other than that, he is Dalek who's historical Dalek 9: He isn't too good but he isn't too bad either, he sort of was boring to watch from time to time, but he tried and he did very well in some parts, but it could be the lazy writing hitting on, but other than that the TARDIS was freaking awesome 10: It's litterly 8 but more handsome, platinum Dalek, who would that thought of that, seriously he is the best Dalek along side with the 8th Dalek, I really love the episode of the 10th Dalek back in 2003 where he basically tried to summon other Daleks, it was so cleverly thought out, so touching and so amazing to watch 11: He's alright, but not my favorite, he has some bits and pieces where the story would go very bad, but it could be due to the fact that the writing was sort of awful, but heck he tried to do well, and the tv show almost died, although 11th Dalek who was sort of okay I'm my opinion. 12: Good gosh so amazing and so clever, not as good as 8 and 10, but he was so close yet so far, although I really love the gag he used when he uses a fake beard and says, "I'm master Dalek, Dalek Is who I am" seriously clever moment from Dalek who, although nobody is sure when the next Dalek who would play, although the 12th Dalek who said on the Dalek news that he would come back, but he won't be the next Dalek who *Edit: this is sort of fake but I really want to see what the people can do with Dalek who*
It would actually be interesting to see a parallel universe Dalek, with the same values as the Doctor, trying to destroy those evil Time Lords. Having them and our Doctor be forced to team up to go against their enemies would be quite interesting.
Bronze Dalek was an amazing Dalek. He was the very first Dalek for the modern Dalek Who series. There was a lot of pressure. If he didn't perform well the show would have been canceled and we wouldn't have had the silver Dalek. Its a shame he only played the Dalek for one season.
I forgot about this, then someone commented on a comment I made way back and here I am. This is so well done. And I still think a Dalek who gets a bit of Timelord DNA to repair itself and ends up able to regenerate would be very groovy. The one that got Rose's DNA got all soppy. What would happen to a timelord Dalek and would it only regen on the inside. Outside is just a battle chassis.

Still more interesting than the latest series.
Yeah... Giving that the last serie was terrible and that most didn't complain about the change but about the casting choice (seriously Jodie CAN'T play the doctor, she is unable to make herself look intimidating which is a unforgivable flaw for anyone who want to play the doctor.)
I loved the rest of the video but got annoyed by the last line... I don't know if I should like the video or just ignore it.
From what I've seen of the latest series, it's my least favorite. But take a joke, wtf, since when did everyone lose their spines?
Making fun of people who hate series 11, whilst making a parody that’s better than the entirety of series 11...

Dalek who is amazing and here are my personal thoughts about each and every generation of the Dalek
1: So wise yet so dense because the writing was sort of all over the place, although one episode really tugged my heart strings, so inspirational, and so poetic for a Dalek who was 66
2: It almost was the same as the first, and some Daleks made rumors that the actor for the first Dalek and the second were brothers but they're wrong, but it was so amazing for the Dalek who series to go offf, especially when it came to the regeneration, so beautiful and so nice, but with color was even more beautiful, loved it
3: Too lazy, but the Dalek himself was so original and so amazing to watch, heck who cares about the writing whenever he is on the TV, people scream with joy, I laughd and I cried when he was on TV, he made Dalek who not be so dumb, so beautiful
4: So funny, so clever, and so cool when he wears that scarf, my gosh the first episode when he was on was a bit wonky, but it really made it amazing
5: So cool, he made it possible for Dalek who to really be a good TV show, he gave all that he got with the acting, and he does amazing when it comes to cricket and baseball, doing two sports at once, so amazing
6: He used to wear a strange hat, but other than that amazing, seriously all the episodes except for at least 16 episodes were all amazing, heck people used to watch them twice and they keep watching
7: The writing was super lazy, but it was really funny when he tried to open the umbrella when he was falling into the well, so very funny and mischievous, he doesn't talk much, but he us a wonder Dalek
8: Man that Dalek was the key to it all, even though the show was ending due to the movie costing WAY too much money, and it looked absolutely amazing and very cleverly displayed, the TV show itself was amazing too, 8th Dalek put his heart and soul into the role, although he used to do a few roles before Dalek who, other than that, he is Dalek who's historical Dalek
9: He isn't too good but he isn't too bad either, he sort of was boring to watch from time to time, but he tried and he did very well in some parts, but it could be the lazy writing hitting on, but other than that the TARDIS was freaking awesome
10: It's litterly 8 but more handsome, platinum Dalek, who would that thought of that, seriously he is the best Dalek along side with the 8th Dalek, I really love the episode of the 10th Dalek back in 2003 where he basically tried to summon other Daleks, it was so cleverly thought out, so touching and so amazing to watch
11: He's alright, but not my favorite, he has some bits and pieces where the story would go very bad, but it could be due to the fact that the writing was sort of awful, but heck he tried to do well, and the tv show almost died, although 11th Dalek who was sort of okay I'm my opinion.
12: Good gosh so amazing and so clever, not as good as 8 and 10, but he was so close yet so far, although I really love the gag he used when he uses a fake beard and says, "I'm master Dalek, Dalek Is who I am" seriously clever moment from Dalek who, although nobody is sure when the next Dalek who would play, although the 12th Dalek who said on the Dalek news that he would come back, but he won't be the next Dalek who
*Edit: this is sort of fake but I really want to see what the people can do with Dalek who*

It would actually be interesting to see a parallel universe Dalek, with the same values as the Doctor, trying to destroy those evil Time Lords. Having them and our Doctor be forced to team up to go against their enemies would be quite interesting.
Exactly
Bronze Dalek was an amazing Dalek. He was the very first Dalek for the modern Dalek Who series. There was a lot of pressure. If he didn't perform well the show would have been canceled and we wouldn't have had the silver Dalek. Its a shame he only played the Dalek for one season.
There's a Dalek time machine called the DARVIS. Take of that as you will.
2:50 I love how you parodied the fandom of Doctor Who.
