Never imagined hardcore dancing at these shows. I was too young for these but my older brother saw them on tour with brand new. I saw them live after where you want to be released at warped tour 04 then went 8 yrs consecutively. Always thankful for my brother.
The scene on Long Island back then was pretty intertwined with each other around Hardcore/Metalcore/emo etc.. would see bands like TBS play with bands like From Autumn To Ashes all the time....
Oh. My. Gawd. YES!!!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS. This is what the hell I am talking bout! 2018. Boys in TBS are embarking on a huge world tour in 2019 celebrating 20 years.
I wanted to go see taking back Sunday SOOOO bad in like 2004 here in dallas. They were with Saves the Day around halloween. and Chris dressed like Dorothy from wizard of OZ. and I really hate the fact I never got to go. One of my only regrets in life. Cause I don't really regret anything. Anyways....this made me feel better
Can you post the links? I want to read them! Also I am going through and there is more footage of a band called "On the Might of Princes" - I think they headlined this show with TBS.
Thank you for sharing this!! It's gotta be some of the best live footage from the early years. I was a youngin when they were promoting this album so I couldn't see it live..Tell your gf she is FUCKING awesome for capturing this!!!
this is so goddamn early that the only thing people had to go off of was the TAYF demos. No one in the crowd knows Your So Last Summer clearly. They must have all been like holy shit I loved that new song they have!
Most videos of shows from this era are awful sound quality and/or terrible picture. This is great. I'm just coming across this today but thank you so much for uploading this for everyone to see.
Wonder if everyone in that room realized they were seeing legends in the making... Here on the West Coast scene there cd was being passed around and copied in school.
ValenZero crazy man, my dad used to play with them down in edinboro back when they first started, I feel like I'm the only 16 year old that listens to this stuff, back when music actually had a meaning
My GF is from long island and dated Eddie their guitar player. She taped this show and it was in a box for 17 years. This is one of my favorite bands so it was like Xmas all over when I watched it! Keep listening to good tunes dude.
ValenZero haha yes dude, I just saw them in Pittsburgh in July 22, not as much energy but it was amazing just seeing them, my dad and Adam used to trade shirts all the time when they'd perform, he still has the shirt
I attended this show(I'm the back of the head you see at the bottom of the screen midway through the video. He zooms into the back of my head at some point. My brother filmed this same show from the right side.
I'm glad this video exists for the record. Isn't this the early TBS line up e.g completely different to the later commercially successful version? Amazing to see these songs performed then.
I wouldn't say it's a completely different line-up. Mark, Eddie, and Adam are all original members who stayed on for a long time and/or are still members.
The best verison of mutual headclub so keep me updated call back im a week to check up on me if this was so easy this is impossible this is more then i can handle keep intouch
It is impossible to watch this video without a wide wholesome smile from ear to ear
Facts. Always believe in that one local band that slaps
this scene was out of control. what a time to be alive.
This video makes me feel like I'm already friends with everyone at the show.

@@hulkpanda4378 awesome. Would’ve liked to see them both back in the day. Furnace fest had a sick lineup this past year. I missed out.
This needs to be archives and saved as a national treasure
Idk if these people understand what they were witnessing in the moment. Life doesn’t get better than that night they had. They peaked

Thank Sunny day and Getup kids for this, lol.

Awesome stuff!
Man, 20 years. Nostalgia at its finest.
It's not nostalgia if it's timeless precedent of human expression & capturing the same authentic care of that reality done together.

Michael Tajalle that's awesome!!!! Does your bro have the video up? It would be sweet to use the best audio track and edit the two videos together!
Michael Tajalle He's a she, I took the footage. 😁
ValenZero his tape, much like yours, is sitting in a box on Mini DV. He'd have to convert it. You can see him on to of a chair on the right side.
Jaime Hart well you made me wish I combed my hair better that day.
Are you ever gonna upload the show from your angle?
Pure gold!
7:16 what made going to concerts so fun back in the day.
I used to think like that, then I started going to shows again. Trust me, there's still loads of shows with that behaviour and you're missing out!
