    Caine always used just the right amount of force to get the job done. No fancy spin kicks or acrobatics, just looked to avoid max damage while letting his opponent see the futility of the fight as they tired themselves out.

      A good fighter can win. An excellent fighter could do that. Not sure such a fighter could have beaten Greco-Roman wrestling.

    Interesting when the stick hit him on the back Kane felt the blow, but when he left the fire chess branding his risk he murmured nothing 🤔

    I wonder since there were only 7 ASIAN actors in Hollywood during that time period if they drew straws to see who was the bad guy for that weeks episode

      In the original Kung Fu series the bad guys were white by ample majority. And yes, given the difficulty for Asian actors to get any significant role in American films and TV, there was a limited pool of experienced actors for the important secondary roles; still the Guy Lee agency provided a lot of young Asian actors and actresses weekly. At the time, it was by far the series that hired more Asian actors of all.

    Any chance of Warner Bros making a 3th and 4th season of "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues"? I am going to create a new channel for the sequel next year but will run out of short clips by the end of the second season unless you put on DVD the 3rd and 4th seasons. Warner Bros will of course get the advertising revenue for the new channel as you do with this current channel of mine.

      you probably already know the answer now. Probably not....Season 4 was the last. The rumor I heard was that David Carradine hated working in Toronto as it was too cold in the winter...

      Not true, this was a rumor started by Bruce lee's widow but doesn't hold water. See Quentin Tarantino's latest interview on the Joe Rogan experience.

      @@jasonlane6725 Bruce Lee's widow, Linda Lee Cadwell, asserts that Lee created the concept for the series, which was then stolen by Warner Bros.: “Even before this [Longstreet], Warner Brothers had suddenly caught on to the fact that kung fu itself had captured the public’s imagination and decided to launch a TV series,” she writes. “Bruce himself had been working on the idea of a Shaolin priest, a master of kung fu, who would roam America and find himself involved in various exploits. The studio contacted him and he was soon deeply involved. He gave them numerous ideas, many of which were eventually incorporated in the resulting TV success, Kung Fu, starring actor David Carradine.” (Linda Lee, The Man Only I Knew, There is circumstantial evidence for this in a December 8, 1971, television interview that Bruce Lee gave on The Pierre Berton Show. In the interview, Lee stated that he had developed a concept for a television series called The Warrior, meant to star himself, about a martial artist in the American Old West (the same concept as Kung Fu, which aired the following year), but that he was having trouble pitching it to Warner Brothers and Paramount.

      I love Bruce Lee's my but after seeing David carradine play the part and walked around the world. And barefoot. The fight scenes were always in slow motion, and when he hit you it was like a child hitting you and his opponents would fall down like you hit a very hard. Like in the last episode when he fought that that wrestler that supposed to beat anybody. David carradine in the movie. All his hits and kicks were like very slow motion and very soft like it wouldn't even hurt a child. But he gets knocked out that's my only disappointment was a fighting. Slow motion and the punches and the kicks were slow and looks like they barely hurt you. La Bruce Lee on the other hand would throw so many punches answer you wouldn't know what the hell happened. But I guess this was the first kanku movie ever that was introduced to America. The writing was good. Bruce Lee supposedly came up with the idea. I don't know the reason why they didn't make season 4 was cuz David carradine couldn't go on any longer. He was complaining about injuries. I mean looking and watching the movies I can see why he was getting injured allowed because he's walking barefoot through the woods. But that was in the movie. But making the movie don't do all that crap it just looks that way. This ain't the first time David carradine quit making movies because Andrew's. Look at these back now as an older gentleman he probably got better at his karate but he's been studying Kung-Fu many years now watch the movie the fight scenes were probably lot different

      Bruce Lee was incapable of understanding the character of Caine. And he did not move with the exquisite beauty and grace that Carradine flowed with so effortlessly.
      I don't think most of the audience would have related as well to Bruce Lee. It probably would not have lasted even one season.

    • @Rockabillyman26
      @Rockabillyman26 Год назад

      @@DeltaDusk125 but Bruce Lee wasn't just a great martial artist, but a philosopher and Bruce would have put alot into the character of Caine, Bruce Lee would have choreograph the fight scenes alot better, and I think the audience would have went for Bruce Lee more so than David Carradine, Bruce Lee would have made Kung Fu TV series alot better had he been picked for the lead role, nothing against David Carradine he was an awesome actor one of the all time greats and he was great as Caine, not trying to pick on Carradine, but when you see his fight scenes in the Kung Fu series, the thing that comes to mind they replaced Bruce Lee an actual Martial Artist, for him, David Carradine who can't even move very good and can't even throw a proper sidekick, as said before Kung Fu would have been so much better with Bruce Lee.

      No it wasn't. Kung Fu was written by New York screenwriter Ed Spielman in 1966, before Bruce Lee had even appeared in The Green Hornet. You really should stop listening to that BS movie Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, as the entire film was fictionalized.
