I remember a couple of years ago before a match, adrian lewis said on tv interview that phil Taylor had just hit 10 bulls in a row in the pratice room!!!!

I don't see why this would be untrue, I would say Taylor is that good, much of the time.
Appropriate as he's been full of bull for years nasty wee shit no matter how much he's won.

5/9 is very very good. It usually takes me 10-20 darts to hit one bullseye.

Very Good!
Aim at the bull for one hour straight and you would be amazed at how many you hit. Most folk never practice it that much. I prefer it to most doubles on the board.

thing is with my game I am capable of hitting 5 bulls out of 9 darts, but I am also capable of missing a bull in about 40 darts. I'm so inconsistent, I can throw a 18 dart leg in practice then the very next leg avg 45 down to a double then miss about 20 darts at a double and end up like a 50 dart leg. I need professional help. what do I do wrong.

I'm a purist, soft tip darts for me is like football on an artificial pitch, with an orange ball, players wearing suits like speed skaters and five refs. Nothing against it if that's what people want, just not for me.

i doont understand how anyone can get accuracy while throwing like that. his throw looks like there is a ton of room for error
Hes thrown like that for 10+ years, i guess practice makes perfect!
Ah, yes, but remember Jocky Wilson whose whole body used to jolt as the darts landed in the trebles and doubles. Some people just have it :D
Making that throw 100k+ times will make a difference.
