I've recently retired and become a dog owner and walk her in the forest a lot. I enjoy watching your videos there very well filmed and your narration is very informative thanks for making them.
Hello thank you for sharing this part of the forest with us , we have visited a few different parts of the new forest but i do not recall this part. it looks simply stunning we hope we can find it on our trails. Once again thank you for the video. Stay safe Love and Light. PS we smashed the like button and made sure we have the notifications turned on . Sarah and Glenn
Drove to the pond today. Beautiful place for a walk with a it of history thrown in. Great video. Will come back in the summer and follow the walk route.
Hello Dave, just found your channel, love your videos! I agree with you that Eyeworth Wood is one of the best in the Forest, I’d love to see more footage of it, so many amazing trees. I believe there’s reputed to be a carving of a prizefighter on one of the old beeches, though I’ve never found it!
Thanks Chris. I didn't know about the carving .... must keep my eyes peeled next time I am walking in that area. Thank you for watching. Look out for a "virtual walk" video that will be published on the channel around Christmas .... it was made in Eyeworth Wood.
I think you'll have to rename the series "Dave's pub walks" after this. By the way, Logan's gotten wise to your cry of "Fish" Dave! I think Logan saw the bike and dog basket and thought that looked a good idea. Maybe a new series of Dave's countryside bike rides?😊
Hello Dave and Logan. You always manage to find a pond which looks extremely blue. I know it’s a lot to do with the light at the time. Talking about the speed of cars on the Forest roads. When I’m using those roads and spot animals in general, I always assume they may well decide to cross the road in front of me and therefore slow right down.
Oooooooo beautiful pony’s. I love horses...the duck and the pond beautiful . Lovely open clear land very lovely Dave and Logan👍👍👍👍Dee
Tanks Doreen. It really is a pretty stretch of water.
Great Walk Dave & Logan, Many Thanks, Keep the walks going. Ron.
Thank you Ron & indeed thanks for watching.
Been to Eyeworth pond many times and it is considered one of the most beautiful places in the forest
It is such a pretty area around there Dave.
Nothing nicer than walking by water. Thank you Dave and Logan, that was very pleasant, not a part of the Forest I know.
Thanks Christine. :)
Another great video, Dave. Please keep 'em coming.
Thanks Roger. Will do! :)
We popped down to Eyeworth pond on a day out last week, so was nice to watch this video of your walk.
It really is so pretty around there for sure. :)

Thanks Jimmy. I hope that you get to enjoy some great dog walks in the New Forest going forward. Thank you for watching.
Really enjoying your videos Dave, from one Whippet owner to another
Whippets are the best! Thanks for watching.

Glad you got to visit the pond Tim. It looks even better in the Summer with the reflections of the sun on the water.
Bizarrely "chalybeate" is pronounced ka-li-be-at (don't ask me!). Great video as ever Dave. There's always something to see in the Forest!
Thanks Oli. I had a funny feeling I hadn't got it right. Not a word that I come across regularly! Thanks for watching.:)
i love this place!
It certainly is a very pretty part of the new Forest. Thanks for watching.

Yes, Logan is getting quite brave in those rivers now!
Great walk Dave. When will Fiver join you and Logan
Thanks. Fiver's training is going well - just need to brush up on his recall!
That is certainly the correct approach Lionel, for sure. You just never know what livestock will be on the road around the corner as well as deer.
That Longcross pond looks very similar to Green Pond doesn’t it
Yes indeed. Both seem to hold water even in the very dry months.
