because we use the n word but they dont use the f word.. not in public anyway, we use that shit at all times with no distinction for what company we say it in. And it makes sense if you offend a gay person that they wouldnt want to get you paid same way you wouldnt want to get someone paid who you think is a racist. Doesnt mean "THEY" run it necessarily, it means "THEY" were in the room and would be signing your check or signing off on your budget etc.
You bring up good points, but not only gay people are offended by the "f" word and that due to LGBT activists raising awareness of gay issues. Also people calling the shots may not be gay themselves but might have a gay employee or gay relatives. I'm sure those same execs would love to put out music that didn't have the N word, but is that really gonna fly? All a black artist needs to do is go to Twitter and complain about their god-given right to say the N word and how the music industry is abridging his free speech and it's a wrap.

I am of a supporter of free speech. If you're offended by the f-word or the n-word then that is a you problem. Now if you are offended by others using it then you yourself shouldn't be using it. If you're someone who is LGBT and calling each other the f-word then a heterosexual like myself should be able to use the word because you're using it. That would be hypocritical if I can't use it, but you can. Same with the n-word. If you're someone who is black and calling each other that word then a white person like my dad (I am mixed) should be able to use the word, because you're using it.
