Embossing with timber. Thank you for your video. And details of work? Simply outstanding. Any timber lover will lust after your piece like I am now. Thank you again.
Great work, I got a Amana Tool - 46473 like you use to use as finish pass but have question. When I run the preview on my Vetric software it shows the finish path with circles in the inside corners. a regular vbit will leave crisp clean areas in the corners areas. do you see on your preview software the same thing . it does not look like it carves it that way from your videos. i have not actually ran it on wood to see.
Your boards are absolutely beautiful. If I had one I would be too scared to chop anything on it... I wonder if anyone actually does ? They are works of art.
Hi Nik I had a question about your use of the 46473, When I preview using this bit i VCarve it doesn't look right on either the male or female parts. But when I use the 45611 the previews look clear and crisp. What do you do special to make the carving bit work like the engraving bit.
Wondering why you use double sided tape AND screw your male plugs on the spoilboard where there is no visible risk of cutting through. Beautiful work, as usual. Thanks.
A nice brown can lean towards red but more reminiscent of dried blood. Fitting the cat like beast is a light color. And, the flower pattern is transporting.
Nic, how deep are your inlays, and is it a pocket? I'm trying to make some inlays for my father and trying to learn. Awesome work....I've seen them all. You're the best at this, hands down!!
Awesome board! 1. What CNC do you use? 2. When you’re CNCing away the waste after gluing the inlay pieces? Why do you use such a small bit to clean it up? It seems like if you used a large flattening bit it’d go much quicker.
In my experience a larger diameter bit when clearing something like this is just a higher chance of something chipping or breaking. Slow and steady is my preference on delicate stuff like this.
Thank you very much for your great work! Recomend for everybody! It was a very comfortable communication and detailed work on the design. It's a pity that we have a war in Ukraine and I can't get my masterpiece. We believe in ourselves! Everything will be fine otherwise no way! Everything will be Ukraine!
Have watched so many videos, and still don't know what bit/endmills you ended up with, but the better question is how are you clamping your inlays? I understand it's v-carve inlay, but to get that much detail you have to have .... 1. A very accurate machine 2. A very dialed in accurate machine 3. A VERY good option for clamping. 4. High quality bits. Maybe 15 degree V? 5. See # 3 AS you never show your version of clamping the inlays, I would imagine you have a setup to do it with a floor press, maybe 20 ton. They're cheap as chips at Harbour Freight. Just hammering them in does not work. Glue and wood expands.
1, 2 and 4: experience and knowledge you only gain throughout the years 3 and 5: could be as easy as just piling on weights, but many options are possible up to and including hydraulic presses :)
Жёлтый цвет ,и кубики круга всё портят Надо было сделать в одной тональности .А то дешёвое дерево для дощечек всё портит ,особенно в глаза бросаются кубики ,видно ,что не из цельного дерева .А так работа хорошая .
ARRGGHHHH damn i hate you guys, i think yeah defiantly go for a samurai theme ,,, then you go and show this. back to the ideas i suppose and the savings account, another great piece guys..
Cool technique but the "art" is way too stylized in a cartoonish manner. I can imagine some camaro driving, mullet wearing, Hugh Hefner type wearing it on the back of their silk robe.

Amazing project, very cool and difficult picture for wood inlay
Wonderful congratulations
To cool. You have any video of prepairing the g-code? Thanks!
Magnífica pieza de arte, sigue así, inspirando al mundo.
Any idea on when the educational video will be out man? Very interested in learning all the nuances of this stuff.

Can I ask what the depth of cut is on both the male and female parts of the inlay?
Your boards are absolutely beautiful. If I had one I would be too scared to chop anything on it... I wonder if anyone actually does ? They are works of art.
Thank you!
I can know what thickness to build the panels to cut the male inlay with the CNC. Thanks
Thank you for sharing...😍
What are the Male and female sizes do you use for cutting into thr material
Have not seen the Stepcraft lately. Do you prefer this machine?
Hi Nik ! Great work ! Can you tell me the cut depth of your inlay ?
What's your depth per pass on the Amana Tool 46473. Mine defaulted to .7mm but the toolpath says it'll take 46 hours! any tips on lowering time?

hello, can I know where to find that double-sided tape that I use to fix the boards to be inlaid to the base of the CNC? Thanks

What type of cancel machine is this? What is the brand?
Great piece. How do you keep the center after removing it & replacing it? Do you save the xyz in G56?
That yellow wood is black locust or ossage orange ?
osage orange
hi, OMG, absolutely brilliant work. what cnc machine do you use ?. thank you for your time, kind regards mike.
Awesome. Is the female engraving deeper than the male in order to let space for the glue? If yes how much space do you set? Thanks

Wow
gum? as in blue gum? like eucalyptus?
A nice brown can lean towards red but more reminiscent of dried blood. Fitting the cat like beast is a light color. And, the flower pattern is transporting.
It looks like it, but are all of your inlays end grain as well?
Yes.
correct

boy but you are an artist, really remarkable, but how long did it take you to engrave it all?
It was a really complicated project. i spent a whole month making it. The milling time in total is about 24-28 hours.
@@Broinwood oh my god, a beastly job, congratulations indeed. excuse me which wood is the yellow one?
@@opitk90nico it is osage orange

A facing bit uses a lower rpm, smaller faster end mill has a lesser chance of ripping.
Hi, I watch you from Ukraine. What program are you using to make the control program?
здравствуте! я использую VCarve Pro
