I went to the raptors pacers game last week and I watched Haliburton closely it seems to me that it’s more a case of his shots just aren’t falling. Hes a guy that really sticks out on the floor and you can just tell he’s a tier better than most players on the court. I think he’ll find his rhythm eventually
As a Pacers fan, I think Hali should just sit until he's himself. There are rumors he's been dealing with back spasms for months, if that's the case, he needs to sit. The Pacers can either tank the season, or try to make Mathurin the first option this year and see how it goes. Either way, Tyrese should not be playing. Idc how long he needs to sit, just get healthy
I agree, people act like they “figured him out”, which to me is such a stupid narrative. He’s always been a good shooter and playmaker, u don’t become ass overnight unless something is bothering u, which leads me to think it’s an injury. Also the main evidence in my eyes is that at end of games when legs are most tired and u have to use extra energy in the legs and back, it looks like that’s when hes at his best. I’m thinking Celtics game where he hit tough step backs in late game situations. Leads me to think he doesn’t have his usual lift and explosiveness when he’s on the court and he doesn’t realize, so shots tend to be short
But what if it’s mental? It’s rare but we’ve seen it. Idk but something about Halibuton, ever since he made all star and got all of that love, has seemed off to me in terms of emotional maturity. Not to mention, the dude has NEVER had a modern “handle” or on ball creation game that you expect from a lot of lead guards and wings. But as far as the emotional part goes, I just get this sort of immature insecurity type of vibe from him. Almost like he just wasn’t really ready for the type of love and hype he got from playing so insanely well for 20 games. Like his own hype got to his head, and now we are seeing the negativity get to his head. I think you had to be a big Pacers fan during last years playoffs not to be turned off by his behavior. The way he would shrink SOOOOO small for a few games, shrink in his entire presence, and then as soon as he played well for a half he is telling people they can’t guard him and doing all sorts of antics. It was reallllly off. Lastly, he pissed off the basketball gods. Maybe it’s simple as that. You don’t have your team play you 20 mins while you are injured just so that you can meet a minimum games threshold. No. Just no.
@@schuylersavage276 He definitely hasn’t felt the same mentally ever since he became popular. A year ago it felt like he was more of a dawg when it came to his mentality. Now, the energy isn’t really there and it feels like he doesn’t have a chip on his shoulder anymore. Again, maybe he’s just really banged up, but as a big Pacers fan who watches a lot of interviews, Tyrese hasn’t really felt the same since early January
the video explains in detail how it wasn't simply a higher FG% and how he's regressed in his passing abilities and trips to the FT line so this is a really atrocious take
My friend is a massive pacers fan and we got a bit of a rivalry and haliburton playing this cheeks has given me so much ammo against him
😂😂😂
Haliburton better take this personal if he wants a chance to get good again 😂
Loved watching you and Kenny collab again two of my favorite RUclipsrs of all time for years 💯

Real ones knew he had these holes in his game, son is still on the banned parlay list.
This might just be who he really is
he bamboozled the pacers to giving him the max

@@Frank-nz1wr Yeah, like Matt said in the video, Hali is shooting really poorly on open looks. It has nothing to do with how teams guard him.

When Ja comes back all these mid point guards won’t matter anymore.. he can give back his Gold Medal
and people said he was better then Melo last szn (love him of the court tho)
As of last season there wasn't a question that he was tho. Let's not act like Melo was always playing like he is now
Last year, Hali was indeed better than Melo.
True, but initially was never a question who is more talented
After his injury last year he hasn’t been the same
that jumper got hot for 2 months and yall thought he was a HoFr...

@@loit8185 he is not that good and had a string of injuries to even make east finals
I’d boo too if I were a pacers fan too!!!
As a pacer fan I believe that he will return to last year form within the next 5 games
Why’s that?
cope
He got his 244 million dollar contract. He doesn’t care anymore. Pretty typical these days.
🏀
Npc
He has a back injury
I think bro is still dealing with a injury
people forget he plays in weak af eastern conference, he only looks good last year cause the conference is so weak. now hes getting exposed
That's why the two best teams are in the East right now right?
Also the East is still pretty much the same bro this is such an L take 🤡
Just regurgitating stats 🤮
