Love the stained glass window with the flower design. A real gem! As a stained glass maker myself, I know how much work it is to make something like that. Hope it wil survive.
    Blessings from the Netherlands!

    Hi.
Old piece of furniture with labelled shelves in bedroom called linen press.
Little old cooker called Baby Belling around in 50s to 70's as tabletop.
We had one in common room in 6th form at Grammar school !!
That "oven" in shed is a incubater for eggs.
Enjoyed this trip down memory lane was even an old typewriter I used to learn on.
    Thanks - I feel ancient now !!
And especially as you kept saying old very ,very old .
    Cheers from the fossil !!!🧓

What a lovely Farm house. It looks as though the family stripped it before it's abandonment. What a time capsule with the old phone, radios, typewriters and TVs. I love your obvious disapointment that there is nothing nasty in the Fridges.

  • @weatherwitchandfelinefamiliars

Ohhh a Baby Belling cooker. My adopted Yorkshire Gran had one of those, hers was over fifty years old and still used daily. They still make them but Nothing like the build quality of then. I bought a brand new one a few years ago and it blew up just fourteen days later, on my birthday! I bet that one you found there would work with a touch of TLC, I love them little vintage cookers ❤️ lovely explore and definitely a former military building too, there's a lot in my area of Yorkshire 😊

I keep coming back to the channel as you find a good mix of interesting stuff. I remember seeing on one of the videos where you gave away your age but can't remember now. I am a little older (but not that much lol) than you but was brought up around old kit so much of the unidentified for you is relatively straight forward if you had my upbringing (there are exceptions to every rule of course) I am a complete petrol head like yourself so love the car finds. If you are ever in my neck of the woods and need an identifier of old kit you are more than welcome to drop me a line. Keep up the good work and I have to say it is so nice to see how respectful you are of what you find.

Fascinating explore. The red car radio looks like it is 1960s, which ties in with the radio station names on the front. In the 50s and before, people often took their small, portable household radios which could be connected to a car radio antenna. The leather case at 14 28 is a fairly old travel kit which would have contained writing material. 18.49, what you lifted out may have been a pretty old battery from 30s to 50s or before. The car radio in the shed looks like it was converted for use in the shed. As has been said, the out building at 23 is in the style of a Military Nissan hut but farmers still use that style of corrugated iron on their buildings. The brick walls do make me wonder though.....

My grandfather was a farmer, schoolteacher, ran an inn, talented musician, great cook and loved to wallpaper. He probably had to be a mechanic too as he had a couple of cars, truck and tractor. This was WW1. I love the car and abandoned house videos.
