I had accidentally saw a video on resin art and decided that I would love to learn to do that. I have found that yours are much better than anyone else's. You explain things much better than others and my favorite part of your videos are that you really get excited about what you are doing. That gets me really excited. As a landscape artist in oil paints, I have found as " Bob Ross" would say there are no mistakes only happy accidents. I now watch your videos every day and for the rest of the day I am in a happy mood. Thank you so much
All the blooms I've seen you do are beautiful, but these are by far my favorite. And I like the light background. Even with the bold colors, the pink makes them look really delicate. These are amazing.
Wouldn't a dark lavender look great and still show your beautiful petals? They are beautiful.
They are really pretty but yes a darker background would look even better. Love your tutorials! I have learned so much from your channel!
You do such beautiful work.
Beautiful coasters! Thank you for sharing! 💕
Beautiful as they are
Beautifully delicate
Love these coasters. They look like blooms in the center and tied with ribbons. I love your willingness accept a challenge and you give it all you got. Everything is new and different. You always keep us guessing on what you are gonna do today.
These are sooo pretty. 😍
Stunning!!❤❤❤❤
I’m so glad you’re back to doing Coasters. They’re so beautiful you do really nice work. Thank you for sharing.
No matter what, they're still so pretty!!! 🌸
VERY BEAUTIFUL 😮!
They remind me of Azaleas also! I look forward to seeing them with a darker background. And, I agree that a dark green would be lovely!
I think they are beautiful.
Chica! There's a saying. " You're always your worst cridit.'
I see a genuine, colorful flower 🌼! It's peaks stand out as well as the color.
Can't wait for your next project. You always challenge yourself. You're so unique.
Keep 'um comin Chica, I'll be waiting to see your next creative success!❤🎉😊
I've had great luck with your bloom paste.
Pretty. ❤❤❤❤
"These flowers" are so delicate looking they are really pretty and look so lovely either side
Beautiful!
Please put up the measuring chart again Julie. Or post the link to that video. I've tried looking it up on Google time and time again. 🙏
You’ll find the chart on video # 1658.
Gorgeous azaleas ❤😊
I live in a small town in Minnesota USA, I love your videos!!! You show your blobs, drops and when it doesn't turn out quit right. Thank you so much for your videos I have learned alot
they are beautiful.....love all you do...I learn so much from watching you
Oh Julie, they look beautiful. Light and wispy, I could see all the petals, even on the light background. ❤ Well, Goldielocks we can’t wait for your next video ❤🌸❤️
So very pretty, I was telling you to use green for the back. Next time. ❤❤
I love the flowers and the colors. If you put a new coat, maybe dark grey would work.
Looks beautiful. I like the pink back. Makes it look more delicate. ❤
I love them just the way they are! Beautiful!💖
I love how you redo projects
The petals turned out beautifully!
I love your 3d blooms, they’re beautiful, love your centresto . Thank you Julie x❤
I think they are stunning with the pink background ❤
All my favorite colors 😁💖 I’m not a crafter at all, but I love watching others’ talents come to life. I was wondering, as I watched, if it’s possible to separate your syringe and plunger completely for a more thorough cleaning of each part. If so, perhaps try that & soak both for a lil while in the isopropyl and a cotton swab may be useful to get in between the rubber flanges on the plunger. May extend the life and ease of using the syringe? 🤷♀️
Also, how would you feel about a quik lil peek at the pups on the way out of your vids? We get to hear them all the time, and they’re so dang cute, I would love it. Love watching you feed the birds, too. 😍💝
I think the dark purple would have worked really well as a background.
Beautiful I love the background it's delicate and classic looking will make people want to be tacktile with them ❤
Those turned out so delicate. Would be a pretty gift for a new bride perhaps?
Beautiful and can't wait to see one with a darker background. 😍
I love these coasters, very delicate. Thank you for sharing.
Always so beautiful 😍
It was a beautiful bloom. However, I agree with you, it would've shown up better on a darker background. I loved the pink, though.
I just wanted you to know I've recently started messing with resin, and I look forward to your videos. I've learned a lot and gotten great ideas. Thank you
They are very dainty, beautiful❤
They are beautiful even though they are very light.
I would back it with a nice variegated yellow and green to resemble the base of the flower
They're still beautiful. Live and learn😉
Julie I don’t know about a background, you never take any notice of me anyway, I yell at the TV but no, you don’t listen. LOL
They are pretty, but you're right the light pink washes it out. Since the pink is light, suggestion, use a really concentrated black on over the pink backside. I've had to try on a few things, and it's worked out. So who knows.❤
🎉🎉🎉🎉❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊 love it
Could you show your daughter 's koi fish on your tube channel since I don't have facebook...oh I love these soooo much!!!
Of course, since we are seeing this a week after it was filmed, any suggestions are probably moot. But, I was thinking that before you put in the effort too sand them down, put a piece of dark paper behind one and see if that would help - could be indicative of whether adding a dark background on top of that translucent light pink (beautiful color b/t/w) might work.
Hi Julie, I was so impressed with your big fish silicone in your store that I bought it. It was the 2 nd March, and I still haven’t got it. I don’t know how else to contact anyone, as I’m in South Africa. I’ve been waiting with bated breathe, but no delivery. Please find out what happened. I want to buy other moulds you are selling, but am to scared, as I never received my big fish one. Thank you for your amazing workshops, and beautiful “stuff”. You can be proud of it all. ❤
They still turned out really pretty. What about a light green on the back. It would almost simulate leaves in the back of the the flour petals.
The pink is so delicate and pretty. They are perfect for that look.❤ Don’t sand them.
I wonder how a light to medium leaf green would do for a background. Most flowers are surrounded by green, and it would not distract from the bloom. Just a thought.
I was hoping you were going to use a light turquoise with maybe some glitter.❤
You can get scales that measure by weight and volume . My kitchen scale does and I measure by volume with it. Easier than weight. Check your scale , it may have that feature.
Just take a Sharpie to the back of them. They come in varied colors.
Transparent emerald green would have been pretty
They are beautiful but yeah a darker background might be the answer.
Wonder if a dark behind the pink background would make a difference. I can see the petals when you bring it close to the camera.
They are beautiful still. I've seen someone use a light translucent blue ink with this colour palette?
Your work is beautiful!! Do you have a website to sell your creations?😊
I love the look of these and am so excited to try making them. I have the resin already and ordered Julies Bloom white - should be here in a couple days... however I can not figure out how to order the ROUND Druzy Edge Coaster Silicone Molds I looked at the ebay store - the shipping would be a lot to ship to me to Idaho in the US. Are these available on amazon also - I tried looking and didnt see them. I would LOVE to get them!
You make many amazing things!!
Is it "Lets Resin" Resin you use?
If yes, what kind?
Thinking of trying that kind
Hold the black paper behind to see if that would darken it enough
❤❤❤
You and your works are amazing! I tried to make a flower, but it did not worked. It came out a horrible mixture of colours 😮. Does it depend on the resin thickness or on its temperature?
Maby you try use complementary color backround 🤔 It will be push peltals color up and look amazing 😊
What would it do if you add a color to your bloom mixture?
Color works just fine in the white! She's done that quite a bit. If you use powders such as mica, though, the powders tend to "shred" the petals.
I think they’re lovely as they are but if you do a slightly darker pink then they would be even better.
I like the coasters. Why don't you use the contents of the tip to fill the heart, for example? You could use green as the background color.
Mir gefallen die Untersetzer gut . Warum verwendest du den Inhalt der Spitze nicht um z.B. das Herz zu füllen ? Als Hintergrundfarbe könntest du grün nehmen .
Hi, How much time did you wait to pour the ligth pink???
😊
I love watching you and want to try this but I'm a newbie to resin and i can't get the let's resin fast cure can I use the let's resin casting epoxy? Thanks .
can't you put a darker background on top of the pink one?
Can you overheat and fuse your resin to your mold with a heat gun? i thought you couldn't with a lighter but turns out you can and i ruined a new mold first time i used it 😔
Why not try blue or green backing?
🥰💗🥰
The vinagre Is clean de resina toch
Try a contrasting color like blue or yellow
Lutfeennnn Turkey altyazi ekleyin❤
I love them, but, maybe next time don't put either dark or light background. I would love to see a clear background. I think that would be beautiful.
Please 🎉 Türkiye alt yazi 🙏
Can you paint a baby blue background over the pink with acrylic paint?
maybe a light green would help it stand out!
I love them! Sooo pretty! ❤
😊
They look beautiful Julie. The light pink background makes them look very delicate. I really like the double level level technique.
tbh i like the light pink as a background as it makes the petals look delicate.
Awesome Video pouring your heart out 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I think they are lovely but I do agree a darker background would have worked better. Still beautiful ❤️ can you use a mica based alcohol ink to create these??
@cwv-artistry
Mica (or any powder) tends to "shred" the petals, which gives a different sort of look.
@@fairyspunfibers9098 thank you sweetie for the answer I ended up just going for it last night so guess I'll find out what it looks like when I demold today!
Why do petales have to be white
@jennifergriffin7204
They don't! If you use color in the white, make sure it is resin DYE or a tiny bit of colored paste, *not the alcohol inks,* for coloring the white. Don't go too heavy on the coloring agents (especially the paste!) or you may end up with blobbies on the front.
I love them just the way they are 💖 they are so delicate and the paler color enhances that 💖 so sorry that you are disappointed 😞
I've been attempting the blooms, so far no luck, I got the blooming part down, but my resin never cures completely. I used the same as you, Let's Resin quick cure and was told they don't mix, then was told I was using too much white as it falls to the bottom(top) I use very little alcohol ink, and they just won't cure. Any suggestions? I also use Teexpert resin 1:1. Just joined your FB group!
Love❤ ur videos
They are very beautiful but, I personally, would do the background in a blue color to contrast the pink and purple! But still beautiful!!!!❤❤❤
The little bubbles in the top left coaster were killing me 😂 I was sending u mental signals... fix them fix them fix them please 😅
it turned out georgeous like all of your creations! Thank you Julie. Hugh hugs from the other side of the world 😊 regards to birdies and puppies ❤
Did you try adding a black background after this video? It did look somewhat clearer when it was close to the camera, the area where your hand was holding it did make the petals look a little clearer. Black might have a more drastic effect with it being a mica coloured backing rather than solid colour? Sorry I meant to say first how flipping awesome they look. I’m terrible for fast forwarding thoughts to questions.
Make them clear, when you make them again, every thing will show!!!
