    Thanks Jack, great job.
I would like to submit a vote for the following ---> Instead of pausing the video while you do a prefacing talk, just loop the video so we can understand what we're looking at BEFORE you "show" it to us. I know for me, I struggle to make sense of a field position from a static picture.

Would love to see a video covering decision making for hucks. What do you see that makes you send it or holster it, where you’re trying to place it and why, edge, anything really. Just things that are going through your head when thinking about hucks

    Great video!
My favorite part was the beginning. It's so clear that you want, appreciate, and integrate feedback.
It would be good to see examples from youth, college, women's, and mixed in addition to men's club and pro

Hey! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm definitely interested in what people enjoy. Thats the whole point of these things. I've been sticking to what I have experience in for now. I hesitate to break down film in divisions I don't play in because I don't want to give my advice when there are others who I'm sure are much more knowledgable. I would definitely be interested in collabing with a player in each of these divisions for them to teach me and I could learn from them!

Jack thanks for these vids! This kind of strategic content/commentary is both hard to find and what many ultimate players are looking for as we get re-stoked on the sport coming out of the pandemic. Please keep making them! Even if it means just talking us through a couple plays you found interesting from some recent game. Cheers!

Hey Jack, big fan. Have you considered doing an in depth breakdown of the 2017 college finals against Carleton? Seems like a game ripe for analysis. Keep up the good work!

    • @JackWilliams11
      @JackWilliams11  2 года назад +53

That game goes against the narrative of me being a good player so I will certainly not be doing that. It honestly shouldn’t even be on the internet imo.

your mic levels are way better this vid, but the intro reel was pretty loud. besides that everything was great. really appreciate this topic. some other questions
    1) are you considering starting a discord server?
    2) could you do a video on mentality/maintaining confidence throughout a game/tournament
    3) any plans for workout videos?
thanks for all the content. loving the vids

Hey! Thanks for the feedback. I'm definitely open to anything and everything. I'm officially old because I don't really know what a discord server is, but I'll look into that. I can definitely do a mentality video if thats something people would be interested in. I'm definitely not an expert in the gym aspect, but I'm starting to work out a bit more so I don't get left in the dust and can post some videos of stuff I'm doing!

    • @SsSs-fp8cf

      I 2nd all of those!
Especially the discord! Would love to see a discord server giving people an option to discuss various skills, tactics, plays and strats. Could also be great to allow people to discuss gym routines and training drills etc

@@JackWilliams11 haha no problem, man. there's a lot of helpful videos about how to set one up and have proper permissions, security, fun stuff, etc. I could definitely offer help as well as a bunch of other people in the community I bet. Yeah gym stuff and field stuff would be awesome to see. I know I personally want to get my field workout game better since it's such an important part of training!

You’ve a great casual style and all the extra tiny details and re-reviewing the footage make this so helpful!
Please do a video on popper movement and rail movement when playing zone offense to get around certain cups.
Also regarding zone offense please do a video on how to chisel.

@@russallen2011 Just watched that. Super informative! I'm trying to learn how to better teach throwing skills. I learned with a lot of trial and error. But I'd be interested in making some videos like Rowan!

@@JackWilliams11 Same. I find it difficult to teach universal throwing mechanics, but easier to watch someone throw and offer small adjustments. You'd be a good person to talk about how to keep discs flat and catchable, even when you're putting them on an IO or OI angle.
