  • The Torque 2 + Torque QR Control System is a proven and high-quality control system. This control system provides ultimate reliability and functionality for all styles of riding. The hard anodized aircraft-grade aluminum bar center and Nylatron insert in combination with the PU-coated trim line, results in smooth bar movement and protection against wear on the trim line. The external flagging line allows easy monitoring of the wear on the flagging line. Additionally, the swivel allows for near-effortless line organization to reduce front-line twists. The system also features above-the-bar trim providing the rider with full control over the trim of their kite. The streamlined bar length adjustment allows for fine-tuning your kite's turning speed. The high-quality construction, advanced safety features, and easy-to-use above-bar design make the Torque 2 + Torque QR Control System the perfect choice for any rider looking for a reliable control system that can keep up with their needs.

This is awesome! Solves the issue I had with the chicken loop on Torque 2 i3, glad to see it's going back to the original. Hoping Naish continues to put focus on making quality, reliable control bars. Looking forward to getting one.

Seems like a step backwards. I like the old torque where the flag line was integrated

In this setup the center lines flow better through the bar, the feel is much smoother, specifically when piloting the Kite with the bar very twisted.
The exposed safety line works well with the two thin PU center lines. The problem is when it is exposed and there is only one large PU tube. That wears the safety line, A LOT.
Another advantage is that you can see the overall health and how stretched of your safety line is at all times.
The quick release system, although it's not a push and plug system, is simple enough and more reliable than the last one. The push and plug had some issues and some people struggle to set it up in some situations.
I tested both systems extensively here in Brazil and I prefer this new one by a mile.

Good bar, but the chicken loop is a step backwards. Best bar I have ever used is the ozone one. The chicken loop is sooo easy to reset!

I own both this Naish Torque 2 and a Ozone Contact bar, and I agree the QR system in the Ozone is amazing. Very simple and easy to reconnect, you can even reconnect with one hand! Perfect if in the water. I find it impossible to reconnect the QR in this Naish Torque 2 bar with one hand, for me that's a massive fail in design.

I have 2 concerns. I am still a beginner and bkught this bar previous year. I went to the club today where I shared my concerns without using it yet but just checking the material. First one, the quick release is very sensitive, meaning when you touch it iy alrealdy release. 2nd is the hook itself. It is massive strong and I need to push really hard in orde to have it connected to my (seat) harnas. There is no space left. When you release it is still connected to your harnas. The instructors also have some doubts about this bar and advsed me first to check with other Nash bars of club members or to have it simply replaced. Any experiences or reviews you have?

I just wish they made a freeride smaller chicken loop. I've changed to this one because the swivel on the old one is HORRIBLE
