Your comment about not having milk products after eating fish reminded me what my late Father used to say about it: “For scientific reasons we don’t have milk items after eating fish”. Hence as kids we never ate ice cream after we ate fish, 😊
That’s partially true Mam , in the east there is no Navratri and even on Durga Aasthmi non veg is served especially fish !!! In all Indian festivals that happen in East and West of India fish served to the God as it bring good luck . Only the North & South eats less non veg on such festivals
