This is just the video that I needed 🥺❤️ as a mom who is wanting to enter a sonography program, THIS MEANS SO MUCH!!! ❤️❤️ props to Amanda she’s is seriously kicking some butt!! 🥳
Hi 👋🏼 I’m also living in Vegas! Planning go to CSN for sonography, I have 2 toddlers an I am not a native English speaker so I’m super worried that I can’t do it. But I found your channel is very helpful! And I will meet with the health program advisor next month!
Ah hi! That's awesome! You CAN do it!! My friend came from Colombia and learned English while in the program. Believe in yourself. Good luck and we are here for you!!!
I'm a mum of 2 and also a bonus mum. I definitely agree with her on having a good support system especially if your kids are younger than 12 years of age. I wish to that special someone to watch mu kids as I tend to my studies. I congratulate Amanda for being half with her program.
LOL i thought i was the only one who leaves the right answer for the wrong if you are uncertain about what t pick. But sometimes i get lucky. Thank you for coming through Amanda and thank you Geselle and Lynn. Humors/laughter is a form medicine to one's soul.
Wow I have hashimotos disease as well and a mom that is in ultrasound school. Thank you soooo much for this video . I love how this channel has about every scenario and every question possible to help others with their journey .💙💙💙
Wow, thank you for sharing. I definitely thank you for listening and supporting the channel! Trying to help yall's journeys be as less stressful as possible! You got this!!!! Keep it up!
My daughter Kayla (we’re in NC) wants to do sonography. She just graduated Early College with her High School Diploma & an Associate In Science & has 60 credits from her early college & only needs 2 courses to knock out prior to going for the sonography program. She did graduate there within the highest GPA range I believe with a 4.6?- not sure that helps her any.. she had many college offers, but none actually led to sonography. She even had a 4-year free ride offer to App State but the best they could do for her was 2 years (all she needed left…) for Health Administration- which would still mean she needed all courses for sono.. I’ve heard that only about 6 people get chosen at these technical schools that are around here for the sono program (Alamance County area). So places like Wake, Duke, UNC- *all mandate the c19 shot….illegally of course!*. We don’t know what direction for her to go to get into sonography with what they say about only a few being chosen… Then we have the technical colleges requiring the covid shot- which is not happening- esp since (all 3 of my college kids) they were harmed by the 7th grade shot- left in pain 24/7/365. So with my daughters particular situation, we have no clue what is the “right” route for her to take. She signed up at Forsyth in Winston Salem- but they could not hardly answer any of her questions. So if she only needs 2 courses to begin sono program, what should she be doing? She’s finished everything except the actual area of study itself. All her basic college courses are done already. What is the best thing she can do? And is there any way to get around the “mandates”? Thank you!!!
Hi there! The best thing she can do is speak with advisors and counselors of the programs and schools because each school requires different things. It sounds like you are on the right track, but it is difficult because you need to make sure her courses will even transfer over in the first place. The schools are pretty competitive to get into, so it all depends truly on the program she decides... good luck!
Thank you for this! I am a mom of three kids 4 and under and planning to have one more. I’m starting my prerequisites one class at a time this summer before hopefully entering my sonography program January 2025 if everything hoes as planned. I’m soooo nervous, it sounds like such a stressful and rigorous program. If I don’t get in I’m happy staying as a CNA and CMA but can’t shake the feeling that I want to at least try to go for it!
I too was a mom of 3 girls all under the age of 4. It will work out & go by faster than you believe. I aced all my courses in medical billing, coding & insurance- which did consume a lot of time. It helped me to stay focused as a young mom of 3 as I knew why I was going to school: for them. That made me want to do the best I could. I wish you the best of luck!!
I’m a mom and I’m sooo nervous to start the sonography program. I’m afraid I don’t know what I’m getting myself into but this video was helpful thank you! 🥹
