Soooooooo happy for you that you invested in the computerized long arm! You are so deserving! I on the other hand, love my quilter gal and tooo easy to let her quilt for me. I love to design the top and let her wow me with her quilt designs. Again, sooooo happy for you!
Yes, I love using my Accuquilt. In fact, I'm making a Christmas sampler using the blocks from the 10 inch Qube this year. I also quilt on a 16X, but mine is only hand guided. Love yout quilt.❤
Oh my goodness Miss April this turned out so so adorable. I just love the two color version. Just pops in ALL blocks. The layout is awesome too!! What a fun project / challenge. 👏😊👏😊
I have to agree with you! I love my AccuQuilt! It is a huge time saver for me and I don’t end up with cuts that are inaccurate or unusable! I wasn’t able to join in the challenge because both my husband and I have been dealing with some medical issues and we both had to be in the hospital at different times over this past year! I have really enjoyed watching your series and am hoping to be able to work on this quilt in the new year!❤
Beautiful! You should be proud of yourself for doing something totally different for you! And I like that you kept the colors in the gray family, which is not something us quilters often do.
Your quilt is beautiful. I am a more colors are better person, but your quilt is stunning! I have learned so very much from you, and appreciate all you do.
You are absolutely right about everything you said about sewing small blocks! Excellent series! Ireland is awesome! Good food too! I learned about tearing fabric in the 70s!
Love your quilt! I guild does a raffle quilt every year. My part was blocks with 2 1/2" HST! Like you, small is not my thing. However, the pattern called for us learning the strip tube method. It was very easy and very accurate. A few months ago, I bought the Quilt in a Day square up triangle ruler and it was a game changer. I not longer have an issue with squaring up!
That quilt turned out stunning! May I ask which Die did you use to get the 3 1/2" they have numbers on the on them? Also you were talking about subbing in panels to do this quilt, maybe next year we could follow a long while you show us how that would look. Happy Quilting!
Are you using the spline to load your backing? I have a Grace frame on my Juki longarm with the spline. I don’t use it. It never seams to hold very snug. I’d love to see a slower close up of how you load it. Thanks. Fran what is the name of the quilt design you used?

Love it. I'd like to see a white border on it too.

The quilt came out beautifully. I think you would love SewTite Magnets for your Grace Frame, it’s much easier to load than the little tube.
Beautiful - love it.
OMG, Miss April, this came out so gorgeous!!! Don't worry about giving it away. That just means you'll have to make yourself one now 😂😅😊
I love it. This turned out amazing and beautiful. .
Absolutely stunning!

I do use HST often, your black, white, gray tones are lovely as is the layout.

I know the feeling of gifting a quilt, I really want to keep, but I have pics of my quilts and I can always make another .
Love the quilt April, and I only wish I could have entered. Mabe next time 🤪Desley Australia

I sent in my pictures of my very first half square triangle blocks as well 😢
What did you use to put hold your fabric on the back bar ?
