I always say 2000s was the peak of civilization. Idk what happened to the culture since those days, but it has taken a bad turn. Now it's all about letting yourself go, dressing dumpy and not even trying. Take me back to 06'.

@@ChrisantusMachuka Absolutely. It was the perfect balance of modern and oldschool. You had technology advancing but not taking over. Cell phones just for calling and texting. You had genre pioneering and original sounding music, good movies that were not just remakes, epic video games that functioned and weren't flops, fantastic assortments of sports cars and car culture, etc. YoutTube was something just for fun, not for commercialism or influencer nonsense. There was no real "social media" it was just for connecting with your people, no "smart" device dependency for everything in life, no 24/7 political culture war nonsense from either side, less political correctness yet people didn't come unhinged near as much over our differences. The whole vibe was very chill and yet modern and open minded. It was a cool time. That ALL went down the toilet in the following decade.
