It’s so funny because at the start, they’re just talking to the audience, having a chat... and then Patton comes out of nowhere and goes “1234!” And catches them all off guard. 😂😂😂 You can even hear Trey struggle to find the note at the start. So good 🤘🏼
How could anybody question if that's Patton? It's no secret that he sang in a much higher voice until Angel Dust (1992). Hints of it showed up on Mr. Bungle's self-titled disc, but it was still mostly his nasally tone.
This bootleg audio is obviously sped up either to avoid copyright issues or because it was digitized wrong. It’s too fast and too high. It’s a different key than the actual song. Cool though
On the actual song from the album: From 8:30 to 10:03 what are the names of all of those orchestral songs that were put together as a weird sort of pastache? I have wanted to find out what they were for 20 years. I really like the music it's beautiful at times. It's a bunch of songs put together. None of which are played by Bungle but rather, it's taken from LP's. You can even hear the richness of the vinyl. Anyone have any idea??? I want to figure this out once and for all. What artists, songs?
@@gabrielmsnyder Yeah that's not one of the songs, I just listened to it, but its the same style. It might be Mantovani. But like this other guy said, it'll be something I'll never find the answer for.
in the beginning it's dunn, then patton comes in and does the count off. you can tell which one is patton because he has that slick sound to his voice (i dunno how else to explain it) but his voice is a lot more distinct.
Holy crap Trevor Dunn is awesome.

It’s amazing how much this live version sounds like the studio track... completely kickass!!! Mr bungle is way underrated
Only today.
Nobody touches these guys.
It's amazing how much better this track is better live, the drums absolutely make this performance.

mike s Mike still sings kind of nasally on some Angel Dust tracks.
Its dunn in the start
The whole song also sounds like a semitone higher than the studio version so it's gona b higher
Yep.
And the implications of his family having to deal with the fact that he died that way.
All based on a true story too. Sleep tight.
What the hell is Mitch Hedberg doing with that saxophone
Trevor's fretless bass sounds mf'n killer live!!!
The fact that the song is based on a true story makes it even creepier than it already is...
wdym based on a true story? is the Dead Goon a man in particular?
@@pseudolog1cadid you not listen to the first part of the video?

Its totally patton on normal going, he usually sing even higher his songs, just check this live performance.
God i love this band so much let it be my last fading memory
Everyone is wondering if this is Patton lol. Do people not know he can change his voice to pretty much whatever he wants.
Try to get him to sing Falling to Pieces now...he can't do it.
Wow! I didn’t know Mitch Hedberg played sax for Mr. bungle
kick ass dude! thanks for posting this

Apparently one of them is a version of “tulips from Amsterdam,” but I do t know which version or what other songs are part of the orchestral outro.

That's definitely Patton. You probably got your question answered by now though...
Mick karn bass line right there.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! fuuuuuuuuuck!
Looks like Mitch Hedberg on sax.
Any one also hear the dog whistle in the beginnin?
whys mike got tape on his abs
I'm just checking out some Mantovani and I think you're definitely on to something. It sure sounds similar
Who are the members of the band talking at the start?
Probably Trevor and Patton
From left to right: Mike Patton, Theo Lengyel, Trey Spruance (behind Theo) and Clinton Bar McKinnon.
Play it at 0.8x speed and it will almost sound normal.
1:58
i've been wondering the same thing, and for years. some of it sounds like mantovani...
Im probably gonna get yelled at for this but thats not patton is it??
It is
at the beggining no, but yes after the 1234
the beggining is trey and another having a chat
No.
Realising Dislike for Buggs Bunny, Bungle & Patton. He & the bass player are Dwarfes Bitches witch explains abit
What
Yeah I’m a dead goon
That does not sounds like Patton at all. Sounds more like Dunn

@@kaboda317 This seems to be pitched up 20% or so too for some reason, kind of ruins it
