I think it’s more honest to say, I stuck with Mimii to stay and win because I knew she was well liked by the public. Mimii herself recommended he get to know other people and he declined and said he was all for Mimii. So yes the public will expect for that to be maintained after the villa
Why would that be an 'honest' thing to say from Josh? at the end of the day we don't know why they broke up/didn't work out. Plus, I think a lot of us didn't expect them to win because of how the UK is when it comes to LI winners. So if we all knew that (based on previous season winners), how exactly would him coupling up with Mimii be a thing of 'I stuck with Mimii to stay and win because I knew she was well liked by the public'?
Many other people were loved by the public on different seasons and didn't win. I think that's a bad take on the whole thing.
