This fan fiction was an absolute winner because it gave us a beautiful resolution between Athena and Annabeth! Rekindling that relationship is a beautiful thing that I wish we'd had in the story - especially because Annabeth finished the Heroes of Olympus series with NO magic items whatsoever.
