One of the things I want to get more into in 2024. I think I remember the guy from the "Wudang" Scene.

Peng Jia Quan originated in Zhaotong, Yunnan in the early 1900’s. This form called Wu Hu Quan (5 Tigers Fist) aka Wu Hu Sichuan or Wu Hu Xia Xichuan is part of the Shengmen boxing system which originated in Yibin, Sichuan Province between 1820 and 1850. Grandmaster Peng Qing learned this form from a Monk named Ma Desheng who lived on Jizhushan (Chicken Foot Mountain in Dali, Yunnan. He passed this form down to his Son Peng Tijiang and Grandson Dr Wen Jinjun who passed it down to me in London UK 1991. I’m very pleased to see this video. Thank you for posting it!

There's a kind of Tongbei/Pigua vibe to this. Where does this originate from?

      Maybe around Henan.

@@williambreazeal387I also thought it looks like typical Henan styles, but interestingly this originates from Yunnan! I’m off to work now, but I’ll read a bit more on its history later to see what the founder had trained before.
