UPDATE: After doing the boss many, many more times, I found that he can in fact do his follow up after Plague Nova in the latter half of the second phase. Also, I forgot to include his diagonal slam ability: this is another directional ability in phase 1, if you are in front and diagonal from him.
Thanks for actually showing the move-set and not another "insane, just get hit" build. I've logged around 100 hours so far over a couple realms, and haven't beat this thing yet. Trying to match equipment to the guides is freaking impossible, since % damage on damage dealt enchantments are now next-to-non-existent. Getting it on comparable level gear, and without some -49% healing, stamina, or health reduction may as well be impossible. "Re-balancing", more like full on nuke. I already didn't like the grind for lumber or fishing, but now I'm not even having fun with the loot portion, so I don't think there's much saving of this game for me in the long term.
if you guys get the rune call lightning assault with that rune slash forward it can burst him into a minor poise break animation u just need the mana thing i call it mana to be as much as possible 300 at least with 3 mana ring boost can be 600 at 27 points mana investment with 100 cost each swing and he cant move if he can dodge with that follow up slash it could get him then refill your mana by potion and get safe and then spam again until hes dead if your weapon has man refill while dealing dmg then it would be nice
You should be able to get another character levelled up pretty fast, but hopefully you can just get some better gear and get him down! I have a little guide on power levelling a character too if you need it!
Plague nova is the bane of my existence, he spams it so many time and timing is so weird and it globle! 845 armour and it kills me in 2 hits at level 30
Incredible work, thank you! What do you think about armor in this game? Does it worth to invest and wear plate armors etc? Or cloth/leather/mesh are enough?
I definitely think there is a threshold you want to get. Not exactly sure on WHERE that threshold is, but there gets to a point when levelling a new character where I don't get knocked down by EVERY hit. I think I wear one mesh, one plate, two leather. But I have some pretty decent minus weight rolls on most of it.
@@Snapziey thx. I try the strategy now: put A LOT of points in armor weight, so that I can enchant every item i find and see if it rolls good stats. This way i dont have to be so picky about if i want leather or mesh etc. Will see how it goes
Magic is really really strong and you can keep your distance. I've got a video on my channel of a magic run, showing off how strong it is, even with mediocre gear and the starting staff!
Its just doing crucible over and over and over is so fucking dumb, ive never struggled more on a boss in my entire life and ive got so many hours on elden rin 😭

It is sooo stupid that you have to go true all rooms to get to echo knight
Quitting out brings you back to the top too. :(

Thanks for this. This guy has been hammering me and learning you can't re-spec is really disappointing. He kills me in like 2 hits.

Honestly, it’s having to do crucible over and over that makes me not want to practice him
I've been stuck on this boss for almost 2 weeks I get threw first phase fast and the second phase I get to where he starts plague nova and then die.
You are a genius bruv
i just hate how far u need to get to him , thats the hard part

@@abadonael Yeah it's pretty convenient.
I have a question, the only problem im having is trying to counter super nova. Can i use shield to withstand the blows?
I've personally not tried using a shield on it, sorry! I know quite a few people get caught by the novas.
@@Snapziey alright bro, if u have tried it pls update it here again on yr comment. Much appreciated 🙌🏻
What's the best weapon to kill him ? He's too fast and strong :(
