    My father had a temper when it came to protecting my brother and me. If this had ever happened to either of us he would have killed whoever did, like a lot of fathers or mothers would. To anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault, it wasn't your fault, it's the fault of the inhuman creature that attacked you. You are still a lovely human being. Pleas don't give up and keep going.

    I found this completely by accident, but I'm so glad I did. This had me in tears; as a victim of sexual abuse, this was the kind of response I hoped for when I finally found the courage to tell some of my family. Sadly it wasn't.
    I had to keep replaying the part where you say it isn't your fault, I can't even put into words how that made me feel.
    I guess what I'm trying to say is thank you.

    This was truly amazing. Although I've never been a victim of sexual assault, I hope that no child should have their innocence taken at such at early age nor any person at any age. This audio is bound to help a lot of those in need of support. Thank you Happy :)

    I was seven when it started..it went on for five years. (They lived with me). I wish I'd had support like this back then. Thank you for this video. It meant a lot, even now. Like healing an old wound.

      @@HappyFeetAudios thank you :) I'm doing a lot better now, I'm safe and gone through therapy and whatnot. But i think since I had to do it on my own, I always felt a little tender about wishing that someone (like a parent) had been there for me. So yeah, I really appreciate you making this. A lot of times people think it's just one time, by someone they don't know. But for a lot of us, that isn't the case, and it makes us feel even more "like a freak" even though we aren't (cause society has a way of blaming the victims and whatnot). Anyway, sorry for the rant. I don't generally leave comments like this, but this audio really meant a lot to me so..yeah.

    Very well done. The first time I actually heard it wasn't my fault was in the last month by a therapist. I only wish I had someone to comfort me like that when I was a child, I had the complete opposite. Keep up the great work.

    You should like how my mother would respond and I love this. I was never sexual assaulted but emotional abuse by my dad. I watch your video while I’m at my dads because they make me think I’m with my mom.

    Having been through this and having had to have a conversation very similar to this with my mum what I will say is that you do blame do yourself for what happened but to anyone going through a situation like this it really isn't your fault take it from someone who has been through it,
    On a separate note this video was so needed as I'm on a low right now and it has helped me right to get myself back up more than anyone will ever know so thank you x

    Must be great to know someone in the force for this particular situation. My experience taught me not to expect any help from the police for issues regarding sexual assault, ever.

    When I was in 4th, 5th and 6th grade almost everyday the same man touched me and I always was so scared and I didn’t know how to say no and I didn’t know in that moment that it was bad

      @HappyFeetAudios  3 года назад +1

      I'm so sorry that happened to you. I hope you know that you didn't do anything wrong. What happened is because of that man's sick mind. You were a child and didn't know what was happening. As it says in the audio, this wasn't your fault.

    Hearing the words it’s not your fault that part in girlfriend and loving mom audios I play back to back trying to convince myself noting is wrong with me and that I’m worth loving attempting to reassure my self from the social norm harassment of words I’m use to now from everyone I know it’s hard to not self blame I’ve been in therapy for a whole two years now still going strong graduating high school in about a year I’m proud of the man I’ve officially become as of today after turning eighteen at the time I’ve commented this it’s been a long time battling my self depreciating thoughts my demons that taunted me night by night I’ve become unsure of who I’m suppose to be what I’m suppose to do but I’m just glad that I’m still alive fighting despite how much I wish I could just take own my life I’m just not strong enough mentally to go through with it Thank You for this really the words of “it’s not your fault” hearing loving doting mother audios have helped me battle the war inside my head for a long while now everyday I listen to your audios whilst I cry at night it’s honestly disheartening how cruel people can be but I’m so very glad you make these audios I’m grateful to you eternally you have my thanks mama you saved me from myself the day I attempted to run away to kill my self you taught me to keep loving thank you for changing my life for the better❤️

    So, a few months ago this was my reality. I was 15 during summer school. At first i didn't know if i liked it or not because of how my body had reacted to things, and for a huge chunk of my life I was sheltered from things bc of religion. So i didn't know if the guilt i felt was bc i in what had happened was against gods will, or because it had happened in public and I was just embarrassed. It took me 3 weeks to tell anyone. When i finally told my therapist, she explained to me that what had happened was assault, and that it was not my fault. I was scared and afraid to tell my mom bc if her temper. So I asked if she could be the one to tell her, which she did. At first mom was angry at me. She would walk by and pretend i wasn't there. So I asked her why she was like this, to which she answered that why didn't I do anything to get out of that. I explained that my mind went into complete shock and my body froze. A few days later when I was being picked up from school she confronted my attacker. But then around August, she was mad at me during an argument and said it was my fault i was harassed in middle school and now assaulted in June. This audio honestly made me cry so much bc I needed to hear it was nit my fault. I'm not afraid to tell my story anymore. I know it's a sad reality to a lot if people. But i want everyone to know that you're so strong for not giving up after that happened. I'm so proud of each an every one of you for pulling through. You are so strong and powerful. I'm 16 now and even if this was just a few months back, I can still feel those bad feelings. But i know i can and will make it out of this.
