Thank you, this worked perfectly. I've seen so many comments saying "Phone Disney support" but no need, just follow your instructions and it was sorted in seconds.
@Mark Bradshaw, that’s awesome! So glad they helped in getting this set up for your my Disney experience! Sometimes that is the right thing to do, but if we can figure out and save the time that is much better. Glad the video brought you value and happy to have you part of the community now too 😁😁
Just making sure I understand. Ive shared the plans by invite to give my nephew access to his ticket but I show up in his friends and family list and he can see my ticket in addition to his ticket. I want to be sure the lightening lane reservations we make separately dont interfere with each other since he will be off doing his own thing and I'm managing for 5 others. Does sending the invite to connect prevent this or is it just giving him visibility and the ability help manage the larger group?
Thank you so much!! Didn't expect that the app would be mess and should use website! I was so confused with the app that merged through QRcode/code but just add as other friend list...till I tried your way to send email and link account!
My 17 year old is going to Disney World with his school. The website won’t allow us to add a payment method and I guess it’s due to his age. Do you know how I can set up his account to be able to do mobile ordering or buy genie plus through the app? I already linked his park pass, so I don’t know how to go back to set him up under my account and if he would be able to pay for things if I manage his account.
First, if we can't get this worked out through comments here on RUclips, I would be happy to help with this further in one of our upcoming planning sessions in our Free Community that you can join here: bit.ly/WDWDENFREE But, the one question that I would ask is if his account is managed by you or someone else. If it is, then you would need to create a separate My Disney Experience account linked to his own email. If you have an account that is managed by someone else, there is no way to set up in app purchases like mobile order or genie+ So first thing is to make sure that your son has his own account linked to his own email, and then you should be able to connect a card to do the above.
Yes! You can add anyone to your My Disney Experience with a Managed Account. The baby just won't have a ticket to link, and won't be able to be included on things like Lightening Lanes or Virtual Queues.
That's a great question that I actually don't know the answer too. That would be a question that you really need to talk to Guest Relations for, or someone at the Guest Experience Team tents through the parks. Sorry I couldn't help with that.
When you merge an account any magic bands and tickets will merge to the new main account. So if you have a magic band or a park ticket that is attached to a managed account and then merge them through the process in this video with an regular account the magic bands and tickets and any plans will switch over
A couple things 1. You want to make sure that you have your list set to share your family and friends list 2. Have your wife go to her family and friends list and add a guest, from there select to add family or friends through connected guests. As long as your family and friends list is set to share then your wife should see your child’s my Disney experience account that you are managing. Can I add a baby to the list? Just to have an avatar at the App.

If I merge an account with DAS, will it still be there?

Do magicbands/passes without reservations transfer?

How do I share my young child's info with my wife? She doesn't see him/her on her F/F list on her account?
A couple things
1. You want to make sure that you have your list set to share your family and friends list
2. Have your wife go to her family and friends list and add a guest, from there select to add family or friends through connected guests.

Does this still apply in 2023?
Absolutely! Still the same process to combine and merge accounts in My Disney Experience
