First of all, Charlie's reaction was priceless! My main thought is you cannot discount Mississippi. Some of the best music in the world comes out of that state. From D.R. Curry to Leontyne Price, Mississippi is chock full of amazing music.

I love black gospel singing and this is the first childrens' choir I've heard. Another great group are the Latter Day Saints childrens' choir named, 'One Voice Children's Choir'.

Church is the foundation of all black singers who chose Jazz, blues, rock, rock n roll, funk, hip hop or remained in singing gospel.
Because we dont hardly see white kids sing like its like ok wow who black church they been in lol But yes in black community growing up in church you see this level of singing frequently. We put spice and flavor in more than just our food lol
