My first time I knew about Foose was in Discovery Channel on a tv show called "Rides". Since that day, I have never seen an extraordinary designer like him. He's the first one to sketch his ideas on paper. I'd never lose the opportunity to watch his overhaulin episodes.
Chip is not just a great talent in the world of car design -- his simultaneously aggressive and subtle designs are simply the pinnacle of today's design language -- he is also just the nicest damn guy you could ever meet. Any good that comes his way is absolutely deserved.
I met Chip back in the 90's at Boyds shop. I was just a teenage kid obsessed with cars. Getting the chance to talk to him for a brief minute was a dream come true. Been fun following his career all these years. Amazing artwork.
I'm your fc. Follow and watch your program. Every clip likes your program very much. I'm Thai. My dream is to get a car made by your hands. But it's not possible because I don't have money. It's just Only dreams.. I don't know if you know Thailand or not..... If my country had people like you, it would be nice... The country of you who do good things in return for good things is different from my country... Weigh in, the way I text you is just praising you and praising your show... And if you've read it, I'm most glad....thank you.
I love how foose draws i been watching him for along time ...would one day love to work with the Legend on a restomod fleetwood 1984 but i also got few 70s caddys and few nice chevys...he should build and sell his own brand cars
Master of cars. His designs are not only timeless, but also functional. It’s only a shame that most owners of his clients have the car locked up and not driving it.
As an artist myself, I understand what Chip Foose means when he talks about telling the story, or setting a drawing aside then later seeing that it needs a bit of tweaking. I’ve only recently started drawing cars as a viable income, painting on boxes, multimedia paper, as well as digital art. It’s fascinating what beauty can be created with the vehicles I draw, but it’s nothing compared to what I see Chip Foose create. Each drawing is a masterpiece. Even when he is just designing a car or truck for a build idea, he does a lot with the classic look, to bring it into the present, or even into the future. His ideas are cutting edge, and quite inspiring! I can’t wait to see what SEMA does with his drawings!
It is an honor to see the best creator and customizer of cars in the world, someone who created a style that many want and cannot match even in their dreams, I have followed him since 2010 and I am a fan
In my opinion Chip Foose is a legend and he is my absolute design hero because of his amazing work and also because of his humble and friendly personality.
Mr. Foose, you are not only a legend, but a living legend! You are in a class of your own! I am in construction, not cars, not from America, from South-Africa. Love your tv shows, your talent, artistic designs, just all so mind blowing! Humble person you are! Peace brother!
People who born in 60's , 70's or early 80's are my favourite people and they shaped this world beautifully, they're more creative than people who born in late 80's , 90's and whoever born in after 90's new generation losing creativity and desire to invent of build something better because they lacks hunger of innovation. I born in 90's and I'm realising that. Thanks Chip for everything you doing.
Thank you for making all of us who love classic cars try even if we can't, to try to leave those cars as we dream of achieving when we see your program, thanks for so much foose
Chip you are such an awesome man! You really are one of those guys to look up too. I met you quite some years ago for the first time back when my uncle Saul and his wife Tammy had an racing apparel company called "Suck it up racing"... You were walking around the sand sport expo at the fair grounds in Costa Mesa and stopped at our booth sat down and talked with us about a little of everything. I can't even begin to tell you how much that meant to my uncle and aunt and myself. Thank you again. Then I think it was two years after that you and I bumped into each other on new years eve jamming down the 55 freeway when I was picking up a friend from the airport. I seen the tailgate of that truck FOOSE all the way across it and I said to myself I hope he remembers me and doesn't think I'm some weirdo cause I just had to get up next to you and say Hi. Keep stomping it bro! Hats off to you! Stan
Chip really got me into marker blending and using drawing “layers” to get to a finished piece. Knowing that skill can be applied to a lot of different areas and be successful is so inspiring. Thanks chip
This is awesome. You drew a 32 sketch for my grandpa John Siroonian and there’s not many gifts he liked and he loved it. He passed in 2008 his nickname was Mr.32. We now have the artwork and it means so much. Thank you for all you’ve done in everything.
Buenos días ..saludos desde Machala-Ecuador...he visto por años su programa...es espectacular como se reparan vehículos ...yo soy docente de un colegio técnico en mecánica..siempre les digo a mis alumnos que vean sus programas y mejores sus aprendizajes
Chip excellent work! Would you please do a rendering of a 2024 Honda Accord Coupe Type-R on the same wheelbase and with the same design of the sedan, but with 1970 Chevelle back side windows? I saw an illustration of the sedan on a different channel, but I think your renderings are awesome.
Thanks for being inspirational to so many. I was left a 1972 Z28 Camaro just recently when my brother passed. Our Grandfather bought it new and we have all the paperwork as well. We started the restoration process however it stopped for too many years and now my brother has passed I just don't know if I'll ever get to finishing it. I tried so hard to work with my brother to try to find a place to work on it however things just never worked out and now I'm uncertain of what to do. I have to move in October and all I want is to finish this dang thing before my Mother passes so she can see it move again. It's an awesome care for sure. Anyway thanks for keeping me inspired.
No doubt. Others have tried, but Foose is their daddy. Got a lot of respect for Chip, because not only is he an incredible artist and automotive craftsman, he gets his hands dirty and walks the talk.
I’ve been foolin’ around w/ auto art for a few and watching this video just kicked it into another gear…only wish I’d had someone like Chip as an instructor in school!
Chip, my dream would to make a 63 split window corvette wide body with all the upgrades rear engine , road race suspension modern interior . How does that sound ?
And although I don't think there is anyone who can do something like what he does, I'm trying to restore my father's car and hopefully one day I'll be able to say I left it at almost what Foose would leave it at, thanks
I draw cars when I was in school, I wish I would've been kept up with it.I could've been somebody... instead I was a pizza maker 30years but can make a hell great pizza 🍕

I would like Chip to do a Volvo 121 for me ( my first car a 1967 Volvo 121,,,, 1 year younger than myself ) , as he please, i just have 2 wishes,,,,, POWER & Handling The rest i am quite sure i can leave in his capable hands. Okay there are many more cars, but really a back to the roots car is all i would bother Chip with.
Respect from Romania 🇷🇴, Mister Chip Foose. ✨🙏😎
I discovered this design genius in 2005 on the Discovery Channel programs, a pleasure to see him draw and paint with the markers
My first time I knew about Foose was in Discovery Channel on a tv show called "Rides". Since that day, I have never seen an extraordinary designer like him. He's the first one to sketch his ideas on paper. I'd never lose the opportunity to watch his overhaulin episodes.

I have always asked myself when the man would get the recognition as a painting artist that he deserves. Glad to see it happen.

it is still great to see chip still at it, and frankly still looking good.
Master of cars. His designs are not only timeless, but also functional. It’s only a shame that most owners of his clients have the car locked up and not driving it.

Always good listening to Chip’s comments about anything.
I was always more interested in his drawings during the TV shows than the actual reveal of the car.
Great watching you draw chip. Been a major fan since 2004
Chip really got me into marker blending and using drawing “layers” to get to a finished piece. Knowing that skill can be applied to a lot of different areas and be successful is so inspiring. Thanks chip
